[Résolu] Dual Boot réussi Acer Nitro 5

Bonjour,

Je vous partage l'installation réussie sans problème d'un Ubuntu 20.04.03 en dual boot avec Win11 sur un Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58-54PH.
J'ai uniquement désactivé le "Fast boot" dans l'UEFI (sans être sûr que ça soit utile...).

Aucun souci du type de ceux rencontrés sur les autres Acer Nitro 5

Merci pour ce retour d'expérience! Tu n'as pas eu besoin de passer en mode AHCI? (tu y es peut-être déjà)
Fast boot est pénible lorsqu'on veut accéder au BIOS, perso je le désactive à chaque install. Donc pas obligatoire de désactiver mais toujours pratique à un moment.

Bonjour,
Non je n'ai pas eu besoin de passer en AHCI... En fait j'ai tenté de voir si l'install se faisait sans autre modif que désactiver le fast boot.
Par contre, pour le boot-info, je vais avoir besoin d'un peu de temps car le laptop est un cadeau pour mon fils pour Noël... Donc je lui ai juste préparé le dual-boot et remballé aussitôt smile
Je vais m'en occuper dans la semaine et le poste ici dès que possible

C'est un beau cadeau. C'est mieux avec la dernière version de ubuntu
MAIS, lorsque je vois cela.

Je trouve qu'il serait mieux  que la partition windows fasse 100go, celle de ubuntu 50 Go et qu'il existe une partition dédiée aux données communes, https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/part … ows_ubuntu
