Défaut instal grub sur Toshiba Satellite NB10t-A-10F
Bonjour,
Je tente depuis quelques jours d'installer Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS sur un Toshiba Satellite NB10t-A-10F. J'ai installé l'ISO sur une clé à l'aide de rufus. Le secure boot est desactivé, je n'ai pas plus d'options pour l'EFI. J'ai changé l'ordre de lecture pour mettre en premier la clé bootable. J'ai pas de problème pour exécuter Ubuntu depuis la clé, j'arrive à réaliser l'installation jusqu'à la l'instal de grub où un message "erreur fatale" apparait. Il semble que l'installation est bien réalisée mais impossible de relancer Ubuntu sans la clé derrière. J'ai un message "No media present". J'ai tenté plusieurs solutions proposées sur les forums mais rien ne marche, les toshiba semblent être à problèmes...

donc toujours en live en fait ? plusieurs conseils :
- abandonne rufus au profit de ventoy pour faire ton support de démarrage...
- il te permettra en plus de ton iso d'installation de mettre aussi l'iso de supergrubdisk pour forcer le démarrage de ton système même si le grub ne s'est pas installé
- une fois booté sur ton système ou alors à partir de ton live d'installation ça serait pas mal de faire un bootinfo histoire qu'on puisse avoir un peu plus de visibilité sur la situation...
- mais de mon point de vue je vois quand même un problème en premier lieu : pourquoi tu n'es pas en efi... ce serait certainement mieux accepté par les versions actuelles de linux

Il n'y a pas d'Ubuntu du tout dans ta séquence uefi... Dans ces conditions ça ne peut évidemment pas fonctionner... Par contre la proposition de dépannage recommandé me semble cohérente à essayer d'appliquer pour voir...

Bon finalement après plusieurs réparations avec boot repair et plusieurs redémarrage l'installation a l'air de tourner. Ubuntu se lance sans la clé après avoir patienté quelques secondes avec un écran noir et la mention "No media found".
J'ai pas vraiment tout saisi mais l'essentiel c'est que ça fonctionne !

Il n'y a pas d'Ubuntu du tout dans ta séquence uefi... Dans ces conditions ça ne peut évidemment pas fonctionner... ..
Pour certains toshiba, il faut la structure de boot windows et et y stocker le fichier de boot ubuntu.
La codification est ( sauf erreur)
sudo mkdir -v /boot/efi/EFI/Microsoft/Bootsudo cp -v /boot/efi/EFI/ubuntu/grubx64.efi /boot/efi/EFI/Microsoft/Boot/Bootmgrfw.efiRefais donc un boot-info pour voir ce que les réparations ont donné.
