ESP32 (CH340) non reconnu en USB0
Bonjour à tous,
J'essaye de programmer un ESP32 DFROBOT FireBeetle avec un CH340, j'avais réussi une fois avec un PC portable Dell avec Ubuntu 20.04 mais il est maintenant en Ubuntu Mate 22.04.
j'ai suivi les instructions du site DFROBOT pour cette carte DFROBOT FireBeetle ESP32 tutorial
Arduino IDE dans préférences, gestionnaire cartes supplémentaires lien ajouté

J'essaye sur un PC bureau avec 2 partitions : Ubuntu 22.04 et Ubuntu Mate 22.04 récent, et un PC portable Dell Ubuntu Mate 22.04 récent aussi
PC bureau
Ubuntu 22.04 si je connecte un Nano j'ai USB0 , lsusb : CH340 (ID 1a 86 7523) etc. donc normal ok
Ubuntu 22.04 si je connecte DFROBOT FireBeetle ESP32 , lsusb : rien n'apparaît !?
PC Dell portable
Ubuntu Mate 22.04 si je connecte un Nano j'ai USB0 , lsusb : CH340 (ID 1a 86 7523) etc.

mais malheureusement si j'essaye de télécharger le programme j'ai une erreur

nouvelle partition et nouveau Ubuntu Mate 22.04 installé,
Ubuntu Mate 22.04 si je connecte DFROBOT FireBeetle ESP32 , lsusb : rien n'apparaît
Arduino IDE 2.2.1 sur les 3 Ubuntu (upload speed sur 115 200)
groups donne la même chose sur les 3 avec dialout
brltty désinstallé sur les 3
python 3.10.12 sur les 3, pip 23.3.1
esptool.py v4.5.1 idem
les "Libraries" sont identiques sur les 3
donc la différence c'est
pc bureau : sur les 2 Ubuntu, le port affiché dev/ttySO, impossible de le changer, comme si c'était figé, et donc rien avec lusb quand c'est l'ESP32
je précise que j'ai essayé différentes configurations cartes FireBeetle ESP32 dans le choix des cartes de l'IDE
pc portable : le port dev/ttyUSB0 apparaît bien (après appui reset esp32), sinon aucun port affiché il n'y a pas dev/ttySO.
Je pense que le cordon USB est bon, j'avais pu charger un programme, et la carte semble bien reconnue sur le PC portable, après un reset à chaque fois...
Mais pourquoi aucun port détecté sur le PC bureau ?

Salut,
Au vu des messages suivants, il manque de puissance d'alimentation sur le port USB ou est branché ton appareil :
usb 3-3: device descriptor read/64, error -71

usb usb3-port3: attempt power cycle
Si c'est un hub USB ou un autre type de multiprise USB et autres, tu n'as pas dû brancher son alimentation.

Salut et merci pour l'info,
C'est le port USB de la carte mère, c'est étonnant alors que sur le portable ça fonctionne (enfin presque !).
Et maintenant le PC est bien planté il ne démarre plus, j'ai ata3: SRST failed (errno=-16)
problème de disque SSD ?

Si c'est bien un PC fixe, c'est peut-être l'alimentation de la tour qui est trop faible.
Pour ton SSD, tu pourrais vérifier s'il est bien connecté.

Oui c'est un PC fixe carte mère Gigabyte GAZ77 D3H pas récente mais quand même, il a redémarré j'ai déconnecté reconnecté plusieurs fois le SSD pourvu que ça dure !
Il faut que je diminue la consommation USB, j'ai enlevé la tablette graphique Wacom mais pas de différence.

Non je l'alimente par l'USB comme avec les Arduinos, il faudrait que je trouve un petit connecteur pour l'alimenter, avec le PC portable DELL il arrive donc à l'alimenter mais pas le PC bureau.
Ce qui me surprend un peu c'est que j'ai tout le temps dev/ttySO (dans l'IDE sur le PC bureau et rien puis USB0 sur le PC portable.
Il est un peu tard pour moi j'arrête, à demain !

Sauf erreur de ma part, /dev/ttyS0 représenterait un port série sur la carte mère du PC de bureau, et que probablement la carte mère du PC portable ne comporte pas de tel port, donc pas de /dev/ttyS0 sur ce dernier ?

Je vais essayer avec une alim externe 5V, l'ESP32 a une pin Vcc, et 3.3V,
Une mesure de Vcc me donne 4 V c'est peu

Alim externe 5V sur Vcc ESP32, ça ne change rien, mais par contre mon alim PC bureau est faible il va falloir regarder si elle n'a pas trop de poussière accumulée ou autre problème.
Le 5V USB oscille entre 4 et 4.2V, il y a une diode mais quand même ça semble faible, sur le PC portable je mesure 4.3 à 4.6V, et ça peut descendre à 4 V, pas si différent que ça finalement.
Pas vraiment certain que ça soit la source du problème.
On dirait que c'est le dev/ttySO sur PC bureau qui bloque la possibilité de voir USB0.
Non en fait si j'essaye avec un Arduino Nano, avant connexion j'ai dev/ttySO et après il y a bien USB0.
