aucun démarrage après installation
Bonjour,
j'ai un PC portable HP Probook 6460b
je l'ai acheté d'occasion, il y avait Windows avant et je veux installer Ubuntu
j'ai donc téléchargé l'image, installé sur une clé USB, j'ai lancé l'installation avec les paramètres par défaut, il n'y a eu aucun message d'erreur, mais le système ne se lance pas, mais me donne cet écran:

et ce menu au démarrage

Bonjour.
Dans l'image 3, positionne-toi sur boot from EFI File
et choisis le répertoire /EFI puis le sous répertoire ubuntu et enfin le fichier
grubx64.efi si le secure boot n'est pas activé. Sinon c'est le fichier shimx64.efi.

j'ai essayé d'aller dans ce menu, je n'ai que le choix de / et rien d'autre, et quand je clique, je retombe sur l'écran noir

il faudrait essayer de descendre pour qu'il présente la suite
Si ce n'est pas possible, tu booteras avec le support d'installation et tu feras un rapport boot-info dont tu donneras l'url.
Cela me permettra de te donner les commandes exactes pour fabriquer le fichier de boot windows qu'il veut certainement trouver.

avec le support d'installation, lance gparted
rétrécis SDA2 de 1024 Mo
Fabrique une partition FAT32 avec l'espace récupéré
Mets le drapeau ESP sur cette partition
Puis relance le support d'installation en prenant soin de bien booter en EFI car
This live-session is in Legacy/BIOS/CSM mode (not in EFI mode).et fait alors réparation recommandée qui installera alors la structure de boot EFI que tu pourras alors certainement selectionner
Ou alors ne boote plus en EFI car ton installation a été faite en LEGACY

je ne sais pas trop comment m'en assurer.
j'ai crée la clé avec Rufus, et normalement, j'avais pris l'option UEFI. je l'ai recrée avec Disques, et après avec fait les opérations demandées (j'avais laissé la live session allumée) au démarrage avec la cette clé nouvellement crée*, j'ai cet écran

donc comme la clé ne se lançait pas avec l'outil Disques, je l'a recrée avec Rufus comme au début, avec ces paramètres en espérant que ca boot en EFI (je ne sais pas comment vérifier):

Bonjour.
This live-session is in Legacy/BIOS/CSM mode (not in EFI mode).Et si tu modifiais ton bios pour booter en legacy au lieu de EFI.
Sinon. en live USB, il faut que tu ouvres le bios pour choisir le bon fichier de boot EFI de ta clé USB.
Normalement , il y en a deux d'affichés.

je ne suis pas sur de comment faire
je séléctionne Boot from EFI file avec la clé inserée, et j'ai ca:
puis j'ai le choix / puis l'ecran noir
A voir la photo 2 du post 1, je me demande si il est possible de booter en EFI avec une clé USB
j'ai l'option du DVD, qu'en penses-tu?

Au vu de la photo, je me le demande aussi. Mais cela serait surpremant cela soit impossible.
Tu as probablement raté un "virage" ou alors il faut que la clé USB dispose d'une table de partition GPT.
Il faudrait d'abord disposer d'un graveur de DVD.
Ensuite, vu ce que j'ai vu dans le forum , le démarrage du boot prend une heure.
et tout cela sans garantie de résolution du problëme,

comme dit implicitement au post 14, si je sélectionne Schéma de partition GPT avec Rufus, la clé ne démarre pas
je veux bien tester d'autre choses avec la clé, mais au point où j'en suis, ça fait bien plus d'une heure...(j'ai connu cette époque) et j'ai un graveur
