[RESOLU] Installation Xubuntu 24.04 avec pilote Nvidia: plantage

Oui ça redémarre bien directement sous Wayland.

Donc ça vient peut être de l'ancienne carte graphique ( GTX 770 ) qui serait incompatible avec Xubuntu 24.04 ?

Il faudrait que j'essaye une réinstallation de Xubuntu avec la nouvelle carte Graphique , pour voir, car je préfère l'interface de Xubuntu à celle de Ubuntu

Pour l'instant xubuntu n'utilise pas wayland.

Je ne savais pas.
Et sous Xubuntu ( sans pilote NVidia) le problème que j'ai avec les players de vidéo installés normalement ou en Snap ( VLC etc..) qui gèlent tout le système au bout de quelques minutes, au point que je dois tuer le processus VLC pour retrouver la réactivité : ce problème pourrait il être lié à l'absence de pilote dédié à la carte graphique et à l'absence de Wayland ?

Je te suggère de supprimer ce snap, de faire les mises à jour et d'installer à la place la version des dépôts (donne les 4 retours) :

J'ai lancé une video 1080p mp4 avec VLC et pour le moment pas de problème.
Si ça marche bien je resterai sur Ubuntu au lieu de XUbuntu
