(contourné mais non résolu !) Fond d'écran de bureau tout noir

Bonjour,

Anomalie apparue hier : mon fond d'écran de bureau est tout noir.

Un clic droit n'ouvre pas le menu contextuel qui donne, entre autre, accès à la configuration du bureau.

Lorsque j'ouvre la configuration Bureau par le gestionnaire de Paramètres, le choix d'un fond d'écran est inactif.

Question subsidiaire : comment est-ce qu'on redimensionne les images prises avec Flameshot avant de les mettre en ligne sur le forum ?  cool

xfdesktop a dû planter. Est-ce que

pgrep xfdesktop

renvoie quelque chose ?

lorsque j'ouvre la console et que je tape la commande, cela focntionne.
Mais il est impossible de la fermer sans planter tout l'affichage.

Bonjour Kamaris,

Désolé pour la réponse tardive.
La commande fonctionne, en ce sens qu'elle me redonne accès à un fond d'écran de bureau paramétrable et que cet état se maintient lorsque je ferme la console.
Par contre, ce matin, au redémarrage du PC, le problème persiste.

Eh bien c'est que quelque chose fait systématiquement planter xfdesktop au démarrage de ta session. Il faudrait que tu regardes les logs dans journalctl et/ou dans ~/.xsession-errors pour essayer de voir ce que c'est et remédier au problème si possible. Tu as peut-être changé quelque chose récemment dans ta configuration au démarrage qui cause ça, mais ça peut aussi être dû à la mise à jour d'un composant ou d'un autre…

Comme solution de contournement, tu peux ajouter un programme au démarrage de la session (session et démarrage > démarrage automatique d'applications), en mettant comme commande

sh -c 'sleep 3 && pgrep xfdesktop || { set -m && xfdesktop & }'

Ça va attendre 3 secondes au démarrage de la session, puis regarder si xfdesktop tourne, et s'il ne tourne pas, le relancer comme ci-dessus.

Tu peux faire voir

journalctl -b -p warning --no-pager

au cas où, mais sinon essaie la solution de contournement proposée ci-dessus, ça devrait le faire.

Pour te répondre, j'ai du redémarrer mon PC...
Plantage graphique bizarre : je lance la console, qui s'ouvre, mais impossibilité d'y taper quoi que ce soit, comme d'ailleurs dans le cadre dans où je t'écris actuellement....

Ça ça pourrait être un plantage de xfwm4. Tu dois avoir un problème en amont qui fait planter un peu tout le monde, mais c'est pas évident à diagnostiquer comme ça, et je suis pas sûr que ça soit directement lié à xfce. Bizarre que tu n'aies rien dans coredumpctl quand même…
