Bonsoir,

Je doute fort que le souci soit lié à ta version de hplip, suffisante pour ce modèle reconnu depuis la version 3.20.5 de hplip.
Par contre, il semblerait que le greffon propriétaire (plugin...), soit requis pour ce modèle ?
Pour en tenter l'installation :

hp-plugin -i

... il faut suivre les indications du script, je crois que c'est en anglais ; redémarrer si ça s'installe correctement et voir si ça imprime ?

Je n'ai pas de problème de connexion avec l'ordinateur, sur une box.
C'est à mon avis le serveur qui transmet le pudding qui ne répond pas.
Ou peut on l'obtenir autrement ? Existe il une autre solution ?

C'est un plugin pas un pudding !

Dans askubuntu.com/questions/1316973/i-cant-install-hplip-plugin, il est question d'utiliser sudo ou d'avoir le plugin correspondant à la version d'hplip en cours.

c'est ce con de téléphone qui "corrige" et je n'ai pas vérifié, là je suis à l'ordinateur.
je refais la manip pour le pluding.

je tente l'impression d'un pdf : impression en cours mais rien ne se passe,
question importante , la cartouche couleur indique un manque . cela a t'il une incidence sur une impression en noir demandée ?

Ce message est un avertissement concernant l'abandon du support pour les pilotes d'imprimantes sur la future version 3 de Cups, pas prévu dans un futur rapproché ...
Ça ne concerne pas les versions actuelles de Cups ; message à ignorer, AMHA.

j'avais installé simple; scan mais il ne fonctionnait pas donc , déinstallé.
je le réinstalle . mais il reconnaît mon imprimante. mais quand je clic sur numériser, il me dis ; impossible de se connecter au périphérique de numérisation.

a ce stade, je me pose la question suivante ; comment savoir si mon ordinateur accepte ubuntu en 64 bits ?
c'est la version que j'ai installé.
j'ai changé le disque dur avec dessus un ubuntu 16.04 qui est en 32 bits, et il fonctionne, au moins avec firefox.
question ; mon ordinateur accepte il un système en 64 bits ? si c'est dans le bios, me donner le chemin, car j'ai très peu de connaissances en informatique.

Si tu as installé Ubuntu 24.04 tu es forcement en 64 bits. Le 32 bits est obsolète.
Je ne sais pas pourquoi ton imprimante ne fonctionne pas mais n'est surement pas un problème d'architecture.
