j ' ai l ' impression que la methode detaillée sur le site n' est pas bonne , puisque a priori ca a viré les autres fichiers ... ( à mon avis plutot que mv , il aurait mieux valu utiliser " cp " )
juste pour confirmation montre maintenant :

ls -l /lib/firmware/intel/sof-ipc4/lnl/.

Avant , on avait :

ls -l /lib/firmware/intel/sof-ipc4/lnl/.
total 8

redemarre l ' ordi .
Ensuite , montre
sudo dmesg | grep "SOF"
histoire de voir si l ' erreur est toujours presente dans le dmesg : " SOF firmware and/or topology file not found. " .

ha attends

Montre :

ls -l /lib/firmware/BACK/

si tu veux comparer avec le #30 , montre :

sudo dmesg | grep -i "sound\|snd\|sof"

on ne devrait plus voir le message qu ' a relever @alduc31 en # 31 . ( ce qui montre que le pilote est trouvé et théoriquement , chargé )

Maintenant que le pilote est trouvé ca dis quoi au niveau du son ?


PS : je rends la main @ alduc31 qui maitrise la question maintenant que les fichiers " firmware " sont à jour .
niveau son , je n' y entends pas grand chose roll


PS2 : il y a 3 archives dans ton dossier /lib/firmware/intel/
qui ne devraient pas etre là :

J'ai réalisé l'instruction #47 de alduc31, à savoir:

  1. Télécharger l'archive zip depuis le dépôt alsa-project

  2. Dézipper

  3. copier les dossiers /ucm et /ucm2 dans /usr/share/alsa : 

    sudo cp -r uclm ucm2 /usr/share/alsa/

  4. reboot

Fort bien mais quel conseil donner à ceux qui vont nous lire? Je suis totalement perdu sur toutes les opérations et correctifs effectués...

heu non , pas du tout .
l ' installation des pilotes aussi , evidemment .

ce qui a été utile , c' est tout ce que t ' as fait faire alduc31 .
la recher dans dmesg que le pilote etait manquant , l ' install des differents fichiers / pilotes dans /lib/firmware/intel/sof etc ....
j ' ai pris le " relais " a un moment pour l' install des pilotes car j' ai senti que tu étais un peu perdu , et que alduc31 commençait a donner des signes de fatigue .
Le truc , c' est que comme tu ne donnais pas les retours , on ne savait pas si les différents fichiers pour les pilotes étaient correctement installés au bon endroit ou pas .
Du coup , j ' ai un peu forcé la main tongue

Pour résumer :

* Machine ASUS Zenbook UX5406SA avec CPU Lunar Lake (Core Ultra serie 2)

* Sur ta 25.04 avec kernel 6.14 (mainline ?) (il doit falloir au moins la 6.12)

* Il faut installer le firmware manquant sof-lnl-cs42l43-l0-cs35l56-l23-2ch.tplg dans /lib/firmware/intel/sof-ipc4-tplg/. Ce fichier est à récupérer sur https://github.com/thesofproject/sof-bi … lg-v2.12.1.

* Il faut installer/mettre à jour les fichiers de conf UCM pour ALSA dans /usr/share/alsa/ucm2/sof-soundwire/ à partir de https://github.com/alsa-project/alsa-uc … -soundwire. Au minimum le fichier cs42l43-spk.conf qui était manquant.

* (Peut-être inutile) Forcer l'utilisation du pilote sof en créant le fichier /etc/modprobe.d/sof.conf contenant :

options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=3

puis faire

sudo update-initramfs -k all -u

Rebooter et tester.

Pour vérifier l'installation :

* Firmware/UCM OK :

ls -l /lib/firmware/intel/sof-ipc4-tplg/sof-lnl-cs42l43*

et vérifier qu'il y a quelque chose comme ça :
