Mise a niveau 24-04 vers 24-10 [Résolu]

Bonjour, J'étais sous ubuntu 22-..., j'ai fait la mise a jour automatique vers 24-04...Lors de cette mise a jour j'ai perdu la possibilité d'ouvrir Kd enlive.....Maintenant quand j'essaie de faire la mise a jour vers 24-10, j'ai la réponse : " Oracular" ne repond pas......Mon ordi c'est : Dell Inc. Vostro 3681...processeur : Intel® Core™ i5-10400 × 12.........memoire 8 go..

Fournis les retours de :

sudo apt update

d'éventuels paquets cassés :

dpkg -l | grep -v ^ii

et :

ls -l /var/crash

en te servant du Retour utilisable de commande.

pour un usage courant il est recommandé d'utiliser les versions LTS, donc de rester sur la version 24.04, et de ne mettre à jour que vers la version 26.04.1 (qui sera la prochaine LTS) quand celle-ci sera disponible.

si tu peux encore le faire, il est probable que la meilleure chose à faire soit d'annuler cette dernière mise à jour, et dans le pire des cas de réinstaller la version noble 24.04.

Bonjour,
Comme le dit très bien krodelabestiole, et sauf si il y a une nécessité particulière à utiliser les versions d'Ubunu intermédiaires, préfère les versions dites LTS, stables.
La 24.10 arrive en fin de support le 10 juillet ...

Bonjour,
pas de retour en arriere possible. Seule solution comme dit plus haut la reinstallation.
Sauvegarde des paquet installer

awk '{print $1}' packages-list.txt > package-names.txt

Sauvegarde des snap:

snap list > snap-list.txt

Sauvegarde flatpak

flatpak list --app --columns=application > flatpak-list.txt

Sauvegarde des depots

sudo cp -r /etc/apt/sources.list* ~/backup-sources/

Copier bien tous les fichier sur une cle usb.

Reinstaller Ubuntu 24.04.
restaurer:

awk '{print $1}' packages-list.txt | xargs sudo apt install -y
sudo apt-get dselect-upgrade
cut -f1 -d' ' snap-list.txt | tail -n +2 | xargs -n1 sudo snap install
xargs -n1 flatpak install -y flathub < flatpak-list.txt

Pour le backup des sources oui mais a reinstallé a la mano vue que les depot seront different

Bonjour , vu que tu n' as pas pu passer en 24.10 ( ce qui est d' ailleurs une bonne chose ) , on peut supposer que tu es toujours avec 24.04 noble et c' est tant mieux .
il faut rester sur cette version .

Montre les retours de commande qu ' a demandé xubu1957 stp que l' on puisse etre sur , car " oracular ne repond pas " laisse supposer le contraire .

Je n' ai jamais vu de tel messages par ailleurs . il est bon de copier / coller ou re écrire le massage parfaitement à l' identique .

Pour purger les résidus de configuration marqués "rc" : 

sudo apt purge ~c

comme expliqué à la machine à café et rajouté dans ce message

Montre le sources.list avec la numérotation :

find /etc/apt -type f -regex ".*\(list\|sources\).*" -exec bash -c 'echo -e "\n\t$1\n" ; [ "${1##*.}" = "list" -o "${1##*.}" = "sources" ] && cat -n "$1"' _ '{}' \;

Alors , la liste des sources a été modifiée , mais la Mise A jour des paquets n' a pas eu lieu .

Du coup , il faut simplement modifié les sources pour revenir sur noble partout , a voir ce qu ' en pense les autres intervenants .

lsb_release -a
cat /etc/os-release

retour COMPLET et utilisable de commande  |  script montage partitions

essaie ( je ne me rappelle jamais de la bonne commande pour ce paquet ... ) :

sudo dpkg --reconfigure libdvdcss
sudo dpkg --reconfigure libdvd-css
sudo dpkg --reconfigure libdvd-pkg

Tapez dpkg -Dhelp pour obtenir une liste des valeurs des drapeaux de débogage de dpkg ;
Tapez dpkg --force-help pour une liste d'options de forçage ;
Tapez dpkg-deb --help pour obtenir de l'aide sur la manipulation des fichiers *.deb ;

Les options marquées [*] produisent beaucoup de données de sortie – passez-les dans « less » ou « more » !

et non dpkg --rec
