pb de MAJ Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS vers nouvelle version 24.04.2 (RESOLU)

bonjour à tous,

je souhaite faire la mise à jour de ma version mais j’ai ce message :

"Espace libre insuffisant sur le disque

La mise à niveau a été annulée. La mise à niveau nécessite un total de 258 M d'espace libre sur le disque « /boot ». Veuillez libérer au moins 65,0 M d'espace disque sur « /boot ». Vous pouvez supprimer les anciens noyaux en utilisant 'sudo apt autoremove' et vous pouvez également définir COMPRESS=xz dans /etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf pour réduire la taille de votre initramfs."

j'ai fait 'sudo apt autoremove'  ci-dessous ce qu'il fait

j'ai réessayé la mise à jours toujours le meme message "espace libre insuffisant"


j ai bien lu pas mal de discussions mais comme je suis plutôt une bille sur ces sujets alors je fais appelle à vous.

Pour ajouter toi-même les balises code à ton message #4 :

  • Cliquer sur  le lien « Modifier » en bas à droite du message

  La bonne méthode serait d'agrandir la partition /boot
A défaut bousille le noyau  141

sudo update-initramfs -d -k 5.15.0-141.generic

Donne à nouveau le résultat de la commande du message #8, je crois que le fichier initrd.img aurait été recréé au redémarrage du système ... ?

Il faudrait supprimer les paquets de ce noyau pour le désinstaller proprement, AMHA ...

Cela ne va pas être facile d’agrandir la partition de boot. On va donc écraser le vieux noyau

cd /boot

Sinon, et sauf avis contraire de @geole, on pourrait passer cette commande pour supprimer le noyau 5.15.0-141-generic :

sudo apt purge linux-headers-5.15.0-141 linux-headers-5.15.0-141-generic linux-image-5.15.0-141-generic linux-modules-5.15.0-141-generic linux-modules-extra-5.15.0-141-generic

La commande va probablement emporter au moins le méta-paquet linux-generic, qu'il faudra réinstaller :

sudo apt install linux-generic

Bonjour.
Cela semble inutile.
Tu peux passer à la mise à  niveau.

Ultérieurement, lorsqu’un nouveau noyau  arrivera, si tu as le même problème, resignale.
Cela sera l’occasion de te faire diminuer de 1Go ta partition chiffrée et de créer une nouvelle partition de boot en fin de disque.

Bonjour,

C'est correctement configuré pour rester sur les noyaux 6.8 non HWE de la 24.04 ...
Tu devras peut-être supprimer le noyau 5.15.0-144-generic avant une future mise à jour du noyau 6.8, sauf si tu arrives à augmenter la taille de ta partition /boot avant ; à voir l'avis de @geole.

Pour tester, essaie peut-être cette commande de simulation, pour voir si ça désinstallerait proprement ce noyau 5.15.0-144-generic :

sudo apt -s autopurge
