[Résolu] Pas de Grub au démarrage
Salut,
J'ai installé KUbuntu récemment tout en voulant garder Windows 10 en dual boot. J'avais déjà fait cela par le passé, sans jamais avoir eu de soucis, mais cette fois ça coince.
Contexte :
J'ai deux disques durs, un SSD sur lequel est installé Win10, un autre de 1 To (appelé Data).
A l'installation, je n'ai pas pu installer KUbuntu sur le SSD, car il n'y avait sans doute plus de place. J'ai donc sélectionné le disque Data et j'ai coché la case pour faire de la place en redimensionnant et en créant des partitions pour que Linix s'installe.
A la fin de l'installation, au reboot, l'ordi m'a dit qu'il ne trouvait pas de secteur de démarrage. Dans le BIOS, j'ai sélectionné le disque Data, ça a bien démarré KUbuntu. Mais impossible de trouver un dual boot !

En faisant la commande "dpkg-reconfigure grub-pc", j'ai accès à 3 options, mais quelle qu'elle soit (j'ai essayé les 3) (et ça me dit bien que ça a trouvé windows 10 dans /dev/sda1), au redémarrage Grub ne se lance pas. Pourtant avec le code "sudo debconf-show grub-pc", j'ai bien la preuve qu'il existe !

Autre chose étrange (je ne sais pas si ça peut avoir un lien) : le disque Data ne se monte pas via l'interface de Dolphin. Ca me dit en erreur :
"Une erreur est survenue en accédant à « Data ». Message reçu : L'opération demandée a échoué: Error mounting /dev/sdb1 at /media/tiou/Data: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb1, missing codepage or helper program, or other error"
Quand je lance la commande "sudo mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt", ça fonctionne et j'ai accès au disque... Mystère (pour moi en tout cas).
J'espère avoir donné suffisamment d'infos.

Bonsoir,
Tu aurais Ubuntu installé sur sdb2, pas Kubuntu ?
Pour afficher le menu grub au démarrage, il faudrait modifier le fichier /etc/default/grub pour avoir :
GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=menu
GRUB_TIMEOUT=10
Pour prendre en compte la modif, faire ensuite :
sudo update-grub... puis redémarrer ?
Commence par faire une sauvegarde du fichier avant de tenter la modif ...

Merci pour cette réponse claire et surtout efficace, c'est bon j'ai accès à Grub et au Dual Boot.
Question : j'ai lu quelque part qu'après des mises à jour de KUbuntu, Grub pouvait sauter. Est-ce que j'ai quelque chose à faire ou pas dans mon cas ?
PS : je suis bien sous KUbuntu, je ne sais pas pourquoi ça disait Ubuntu seulement.

Bonsoir,
Tant mieux si tu as retrouvé le menu grub au démarrage ... 
Je ne sais dire concernant le risque de perdre le démarrage après mises à jour. Aucun processus ne peut être déclaré fiable à 100%, mais la probabilité de perte du grub dans ce cas serait minime, AMHA ...
