Altération DD
Bonjour,
Fujitsu Lifebook E559 + dock 2xHDD, Ubuntu 22.04.
J'ai transféré des vidéos d'astronomie depuis mon SSD interne sur un Toshiba PC P300 de 4 Tio via la commande cp du terminal.
Je me suis rendu compte que quelque chose s'était mal passé : une partie des fichiers affichait une taille de 0 octets.
Par ailleurs, impossible d'éjecter le DD au motif d'une erreur de synchronisation.
J'ai lancé un testdisk qui m'a donné le résultat suivant lors du deep search :

J'ai déjà rencontré des problèmes identiques sur des disques partagés avec Windows, et j'avais mis cela sur le compte de ce dernier.
Pourtant, dans le cas présent le disque a été utilisé uniquement avec Ubuntu et a passé le plus clair de son temps au repos. Je ne l'utilise que pour y copier les fichiers que je produis.
Je ne sais plus trop que penser de tout cela, et je suis preneur de toute aide.
J'allais oublier : a priori, les fichiers sont toujours disponibles, je devrais donc pouvoir les transférer sur un autre support.

Bonsoir.
Indique déjà comment sdb est structuré.
sudo fdisk -l /dev/sdb
lsblk -fe7 /dev/sdb
Note que si tu utilises uniquement ce disque avec ubuntu, il n’a pas lieu d’être formaté en NTFS mais en EXT4.

Première chose, si tu n'utilises ce disque que pour Linux, tu devrais le formater en Ext4 et pas en NTFS. C'est beaucoup plus robuste.
Le seul souci potentiel que je lui trouve est le paramètre
3 Spin_Up_Time POS--K 100 100 001 - 5599
La valeur est 5599 est assez haute.
Surtout lorsque tu fais les transferts de fichiers, assure toi que les fichiers soient tous bien copiés.
Le mieux est de lancer la commande
sync
car avec la commande cp, lorsque le prompt te rend la main, rien ne t'assure que toutes les données soient effectivement copiées
