Alors supprime les pour de bons :

sudo apt remove plymouth-x11 plymouth-themes

et fais les MAJ .en donnant les retours .

on réinstalle les paquet qu ' on a enlevé :

sudo apt install plymouth-x11 plymouth-themes

on remet le fichier en place :

sudo mv $HOME/plymouth  /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks

et le plus important , on verifie que la remise en place du noyau fonctionne toujours :

sudo update-initramfs -u

si tout se passe bien , redemarre l' ordi pour revenir sur le dernier noyau et

sudo update-initramfs -u

Pour verifier que tout va bien avec celui-ci aussi ( le xxx.29 ) .
et si pas d ' erreur et bien on pourra en rester là
