Re : [HOW-TO] : Installation des drivers 3d propriétaires pour ATI Radeon
Bonjour,
Voici ma config : ATI X800 Pro, P4E@2.8 Ghz, Ubuntu 5.10, Linux kernel 2.6.12-10-386
Apres avoir fait la manip présenté par Mr. Valère, j'obtiens ;
fglrxinfo
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.2 (1.5 Mesa 6.2.1)
J'obtiens alors
(II) fglrx(0): AGP card detected
(EE) fglrx(0): [agp] unable to acquire AGP, error "xf86_EINVAL"
(EE) fglrx(0): cannot init AGP

Section "Device"
Identifier "ATI Technologies, Inc. Radeon X300 SE (RV370)"
Driver "ati"
BusID "PCI:5:0:0"
EndSection
Merci.

Re : [HOW-TO] : Installation des drivers 3d propriétaires pour ATI Radeon
Je me réponds à moi-même :
- kernel 2.6.12-10-amd64-k8
- machine : x86_64
- carte "ATI Technologies, Inc. Radeon X300 SE (RV370)"
# apt-get install xorg-driver-fglrx
# apt-get install linux-restricted-modules-$(uname -r)
# gunzip libdri.a.gz
# cp /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libdri.a libdri.a.old (pour sauver l'ancien module)
# glxinfo
name of display: :0.0
display: :0 screen: 0
direct rendering: Yes
server glx vendor string: SGI
server glx version string: 1.2
.........................................
# fgl_glxgears

1116 frames in 5.0 seconds = 223.200 FPS
1110 frames in 5.0 seconds = 222.000 FPS
1126 frames in 5.0 seconds = 225.200 FPS

root@Sanstitre:~# fireglcontrolpanel
fireglcontrolpanel: error while loading shared libraries: libexpat.so.0 : cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Pourtant, il semblerait que libexpat existe :
root@Sanstitre:~# locate libexpat.so.0
/usr/lib/libexpat.so.0
/usr/lib32/libexpat.so.0
/chroot/breezy/32bits/usr/lib/libexpat.so.0
/usr/lib
/usr/lib32
/usr/X11R6/lib32
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/X11R6/lib
/lib
/usr/local/lib
/chroot/breezy/32bits/usr/lib
/lib32

...
0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon RV100 QY [Radeon 7000/VE]

linux-restricted-modules.2.6.15-23.686;
linux-image-2.6.15-23.686, linux-image-686;
fglrx-control (8.25.18-1), fglrx-kernel-2.6.15-23-686, fglrx-kernel-source,xorg-driver-fglrx (8.25.18-1),
N'hésitez pas à me faire signe.
Merci d'avance.

(WW) fglrx(0): board is an unknown third party board, chipset is supported
savez-vous ce que c'est?
