Erreur survenue lors de l'installation du logiciel virtualbox

bonjour, je suis novice et me confronte à plusieurs problèmes( ubuntu 8.04).
Ma connexion internet se désactive ou se coupe lorsqu'une vidéo apparâit à l'écran, je dois redémarrer ou restaurer la session pour palier au problème. Je pense que je dois installer virtualbox mais alors, un message d'erreur apparaît malgré l'installation de celui ci.
Le message dit:W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages...et ce sur de nombreuses lignes. quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider à y voi un peu plus clair. Merci

bonjour

tu as un problème dans ton fichier sources.list

lance un terminal et donne nous le résultat de  :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list

édite ton fichier :

gksu gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

supprime le dernier bloc :

deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hardy-security restricted main universe

deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hardy-security multiverse

et remplace le par :

je supprime le bloc en le noircissant puis entée mais il refuse l'application!
