perdu xp home

bonjour,

je ne retrouve plus, windows xp
au démarrage de l'ordinateur ;
j ai plusieurs choix  d' ubuntu ,
m'est plus windows xp ,
je pense depuis une mise a jour 

super novice en ordinateur je suis
y a t il une solution
cordialement
je suis sous ubuntu 9.04-jaunty
édite: j ai suivie des tutoriel du forum et rien ne fonctionne

voici le résulta

m et quand je m est le cd 1  il me dit fail 
je comprend plus
les cd sont d origine ?

je doit le réinstallé :windows

m'est quand je m'est le  (cd1) d'origine de windows

sa boot ,et sa me m'est , a la fin ( fail )
et je ve   gardé ubuntu en plus bien sur

Pour réinstaller Windows, demande plutôt sur un forum Windows, parce qu'ici c'est pas le meilleur lieu pour trouver des personnes compétentes à ce sujet.
