GRUB, MULTI-BOOT : boot sur le disque windows impossible

salut ! j'essaye actuellement de monter une configuration multi-boot , de façon à, au démarrage, pouvoir choisir tranquillement entre ubuntu / XP.

j'utilise pour ça plusieurs disque durs , voici une petite image pour une meilleur compréhension :

en rouge la partition du disque ou windows se trouve.

j'utilise donc 3 disque :

1 disque pour linux
1 disque pour windows
1 disque de fichier.

on voit que linux appelle cette partition sdb1, donc en toute logique il s'agit de hd1,0 et  il faut écrire dans le menu.lst de grub :

#Windows XP [sdb1]
title                Windows XP sdb1
root                (hd1,0)  
chainloader        +1
makeactive

hélas quand je lance cette partition avec grub , un joli "Starting Up..." s'affiche et rien ne se passe.

quelqu"un a pas une idée ? je sèche la

Au cas où  une comparaison pourrait t'aider, voici mon menu.lst perso :

Par contre ma config est différente, je boot sur un unique disque dur, séparé en plusieurs partitions.

Pour info, la partitin du Windows, c'est ATLAS (en sda2)

Mon Menu.lst filtré :

merci de tes réponses , cette fois en fouillant dans la doc , j'ai trouvé ça :

title		Windows NT/2000/XP
root		(hd1,0)		# la partition à démarrer
makeactive			# cette commande positionne le bit de partition active à 1 (au cas où)
map		(hd0) (hd1)	# hd0 devient hd1
map		(hd1) (hd0)	# hd1 devient hd0 virtuellement
chainloader	+1		# saut au début de la piste suivante car c’est un OS Microsoft(R).

en fait il faut que windows soit à la 1ere place

maintenant , ça boot sur le disque MAIS un message d'erreur apparait :

Windows n'a pas pu se lancer correctement ....

- mode sans echec
- mode sans echec avec prise en charge du reseau

-demarrer windows normalement

et bien sur aucune option ne marche
si quelqu'un a une idée :?

EDIT:

problème résolu il fallait en fait :

- brancher les disques de façon suivantes :

SATA1 : Disque avec win
SATA2: Dissque avec ubuntu

demander de d'abord booter sur SATA2

et enfin rajouter ces lignes la :

map		(hd0) (hd1)	# hd0 devient hd1
map		(hd1) (hd0)	# hd1 devient hd0 virtuellement

ça marche. enfin.
