Dual Boot Ubuntu/Xp : problème DD

Bonjour,

J'ai un Samsung q320 acheté il y a 2/3 mois sur lequel j'ai installé Ubuntu et Xp.

Mon problème est qu'à chaque fois que je reboot en changeant d'OS (de ubuntu vers Xp, ou l'inverse), le système d'exploitation désirée se lance puis reboot très rapidement : à chaque fois que je change d'OS, le système boot 2 fois.

Ceci n'est pas très ennuyant en soi.

Le problème c'est que j'ai déjà renvoyé mon pc au service après vente parce que le disque dur est mort au bout d'un mois, et j'ai bien l'impression que le problème vient de là et que si ça continue, je suis bon pour le renvoyer de nouveau dans 15 jours.

En effet, je pense que cela est dû à une mauvaise reconnaissance du disque dur/système de fichier. Je suis allé voir un peu dans le bios, mais sans trop de succès.

si tu veux de l'aide, envoie le contenu du fichier /boot/grub/menu.lst.

Normalement, regarde l'exemple plus haut dans ton menu.lst, pour les OS Windows, on a quelque chose comme

title		Windows xyz
root		(hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader	+1

Donc, je te propose de faire une sauvegarde (cp /boot/grub/menu.lst /boot/grub/menu.lst.back) et ensuite de remplacer dans le fichier les rootnoverify (hd0,n) par root (hd0,n)

J'ai tenté, et ça ne change rien.

Cela se produit lorsque je passe d'un OS à l'autre, que ce soit de linux vers XP ou XP vers linux, et pas seulement quand je reboot. Si lors de ma dernière session j' étais sous XP et que je boot sous linux, ça merde, et inversement.

Je pense que ça vient des réglages du BIOS...

Quelqu'un a-t-il le même laptop ? Samsung Q320

Pour info c'est un BIOS Phoenix.
