[ ACPI ] Mon ventilateur s'éteint quand Ubuntu démarre!
Salut:)
Voilà ce qu'il m'arrive:
Mon Acer Aspire 7720Z sous Ubuntu 9.10 chauffait, j'ai donc nettoyé le ventilo ET installé lm-sensors en suivant le tuto...
Après ça, mon ordi chauffait encore plus car lm-sensor n'est apparement pas compatible avec mon laptop et donc mon ventilo était à 0 tr/minutes
J'ai donc désinstallé lm-sensors et tout est rentré dans l'ordre hier: mon ordi ne chauffait plus puisque lm-sensors n'était plus là et que le ventilo était propre...
J'ai compilé ffmpeg, utilisé gimp et fait une mise à jour sans problèmes...
Mais aujourd'hui, après la MAJ de hier, mon ventilateur ne tourne à nouveau plus sous ubuntu!
j'ai testé avec un live CD et là ça marche... mais je veux garder ubuntu!
Je ne vois pas ce qui peut bloquer mon ventilo: il n'y à plus rien qui s'occupe des ventilos sur mon laptop...

Je crois que le problème viens de ACPI: je n'ai pas l'arborescence normale dans /proc/acpi/fan/ :
c'est vide mais ça ne devrait pas l'être.
Mon ventilo n'est pas détecté par le kernel, je crois....

Même problème avec un hp 6830s, la ventilation des processeurs ne fonction pas.

Bonjour à tous,
Je vois bien que ce post est vieux mais je tiens à apporter une petite contribution...
Je débute sous Linux.
Matériel : Acer Aspire 7720Z
Kubuntu 10.04 fraichement installé sur USB 8 Go en dualboot avec Win Vista sur HDD.
Tout se passait bien mais j'ai remarqué que les ventilos ne fonctionnaient pas. J'ai aussi eu des arrêts à cause de la chaleur.
J'ai testé avec "sensors" mais la température restait calée sur 44°C.
J'ai alors flashé le bios en téléchargeant une nouvelle version sur le site de Acer.
Maintenant, c'est ok, bonne gestion de la chaleur, les ventilos tournent de temps à autre et "sensors" affiche 55°C.
Voili, j'espère que cela pourra aider quelqu'un.
Prochaine étape : modifier un peu les partitions de la clef de manière à allouer plus de place à la partition sur laquelle se trouve kubuntu.

Bonjour à tous,
Merci pour la petite contribution ci-dessus de jimpolux, car j'avais le même problème sur mon ancien Acer 7720G sous vista que j'ai passé sous Xubuntu 18.04 64bits. grâce à la mise à jour du bios, le ventilo fonctionne. 
Il chauffait et s’arrêtait au bout de 5 min de fonctionnement .
