Son 5.1 ne reconnait pas mes enceintes arrière EEEBox B202

Bonjour,

Après moult tentatives je n'arrive pas à faire fonctionner parfaitement le 5.1 sur ma EEEBox B202.

J'ai changé le nombre de channels de 2 à 6 dans le fichier /etc/pulse/daemon.conf :

default-sample-channels = 6

J'ai aussi tenté de préciser cette ligne, mais ça ne change rien

default-channel-map = front-left,front-right,rear-left,rear-right,front-center,lfe

J'utilise la commande suivante pour vérifier :

speaker-test -c6 -l0 -twav

Les enceintes avant-gauche, avant-centre, avant-droite fonctionnent parfaitement.
Les enceintes arrière-gauche et arrière-droite ne fonctionnent pas et semble être simulées par les enceintes avant avec un effet spécial.
Le subwoofer ne fonctionne pas non plus.

Dans les propriétés du son, onglet Matériel, il y a un périphérique :

avec les profils suivants :

Digital Stereo (IEC958) Ouput + Analog Stereo Input
Analog Stereo Output
Analog Stereo Duplex

Seuls les 2 derniers profils semblent me sortir du son

J'ai vérifier avec alsamixer que toutes les barres soit à 100% et non mutés (pour chaque type en switchant avec la touche tab).

J'ai également tenté d'activer / désactiver / changer le power_save de 0 à 10 dans le fichier /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf :

options snd-hda-intel power_save=10 power_save_controller=N

La EEEBox permet une sortie S/PDIF optique mais je ne l'utilise pas.

Salut,

Si tu n'utilises pas la sortie optique tu ne risque pas d'avoir du 5.1.
Il est impossible d'avoir du 5.1 avec une seule prise jack.

Oui c'est ce type de câble.
Par contre tu n'auras que du vrai 5.1 que si ta source audio est en 5.1.
Après avec l'optique tu n'as rien à configurer, c'est l'ampli qui s'occupe du décodage.

Bonjour,

Désolé de remonter le post, mais j'ai donc acheté le cordon optique, et j'ai exactement les même symptômes ! sad

Les enceintes arrières et le subwoofer ne sont pas reconnus avec l'outil de speaker-test, par contre j'ai une grosse différence avec un fichier AC3 qui fait la même chose que speaker-test en théorie, sauf que là mes enceintes arrières fonctionnes mais plus celles de devant !

Si vous avez des suggestions, merci ! :-)

Faudrait voir ce que tu as comme ampli à l'autre bout du câble et regarder s'il y a des réglages à faire.
Perso j'ai rien eu à faire, j'ai branché, j'ai mis de la musique et ça marchais big_smile
Après je sais pas si ça joue, mais je n'utilise pas pulseaudio, seulement alsa.

C'est étrange quand même, pourquoi "speaker-test -c6 -l0 -twav" ne donne pas la même chose que le fichier AC3 de test qui contient une voix qui dicte la même chose mais dans les enceintes inverses...

speaker-test est un outil d'ALSA apparemment, mais mon fichier /etc/asound.conf redirige tout vers pulseaudio, donc ça devrait être rigoureusement la même chose qu'avec le fichier AC3 ?!

Je viens participer sur ce poste car je rencontre actuellement le meme type de probleme avec mon PC ubuntu avec carte mere integrant une carte son avec sortie toslink

quand je tape ls | grep -i audio, voila ce que j'obtiens :

donc je precise que j'utilse la carte son de ma carte mere, qui contient une sortie optique numerique, en faisant ce meme test "speaker-test -c6 -l0 -twav" dans un terminal, le son passe bien dans mes 2 enceintes avant + mon enceinte centrale, mas pas dans les 2 AR ni le caisson.

Je suis tout comme vous interesse par le son 5.1, là actuellement mon ampli "home cinema" ne me diffuse le son que en mode "Prologic", et je sais qu'il fait bien mieux, car je le pilote egalement avec un lecteur DVD de salon, et la j'obtiens bien ou du son dolby digital, ou du son DTS suivant le DVD source.

Je galere pas mal, n'est-ce t'il pas un bug lié à ubuntu 9.10 ?

Affaire à suivre.
