je voudrais installer xvidcap-1.1.7 sur lucid lynx (je sais meme pas si c'est possible)

config.status: error: cannot find input file: debian/Makefile.in

Il ne trouve pas ce fichier Makefile.in qui doit se trouver dans ton archive dans le répertoire Debian.
Vérifie dans l'archive que le ficg-hier s'y trouve bien.

j'avais réussi a installer ce : xvidcap_1.1.7.orig.tar.gz sur jaunty
mais ça coince sur lucid

alors après avoir fait ./configure , j'ai bien un fichier Makefile.in
mais aucune trace de  ficg-hier

Sorry, c'est mon clavier qui a fourché. J'ai voulu écrire : Vérifie dans l'archive que le fichier s'y trouve bien.
Je viens de télécharger xvidcap. j'ai dû installer les paquets suivants:

libxmu-dev (2:1.0.5-1)
libxmu-headers (2:1.0.5-1)
libxt-dev (1:1.0.7-1)

Une fois fait, ça c'est compilé tout seul en faisant:

./configure
make
sudo make install

je vais récapituler la situation
-sur jaunty , je voulais enregistrer mon écran
j'avais gtk-reccordmydesktop qui fonctionnait bien mais quand j'enregistrais un jeu ou les effets 3d compiz , il déraillait complètement

j'ai installé xvidcap qui fonctionne parfaitement avec une excellente qualité même avec compiz
seul problème: pas d'audio

j'avais ouvert un post et on m'a expliqué qu'il ne supportait que OSS et qu'il n'y avait qu'une version qui fonctionnait

effectivement , j'ai installé cette version et j'avais audio et vidéo directement même avec pulseaudio

sur lucid : installation de la version des dépôts et même problème
mon micro est reconnu et fonctionne
l'enregistreur de son gnome fonctionne bien avec ce micro
xvidcap m'enregistre que des craquements

c'est pourquoi j'essaie d'installer cette version

pour les paquets que tu cites , ils sont déjà installés

je vais tester une autre version
peut être que celle la pose problème sur lucid

Tu ouvres le fichier capture.c dans un éditeur et tu remplaces la ligne

#include <X11/extensions/shmstr.h>

par

#include <X11/extensions/shmproto.h>

Et ça compilera. C'est dû à la version du paquet x11-proto-xext-dev incluse dans Lucid. Le fichier shmstr.h est remplacé par le fichier shmproto.h dans la version de lucid.

Je dois avouer avoir testé le programme puisque je l'avais compilé et je suis assez impressionné. Il a l'air de bien fonctionner.

oui je trouve aussi ce programme bien fourni niveau configuration
et qu'il sort des videos de bonne qualité directement en mpg contrairement a recordmydesktop et son format ogv

se serait aussi sympa de rajouter ton astuce  de remplacer
#include <X11/extensions/shmstr.h>
par
#include <X11/extensions/shmproto.h>

dans la doc xvidcap
j'avoue que je ne sais pas faire ça correctement

edit: je viens de le faire mais ça n'est surement pas fait proprement

je viens de reinstaller maverick et toujours le même probleme avec la version des dépôts
mais cette fois , même avec la version 1.1.7 , pas de probleme de vidéo mais pas de son

probleme avec OSS ?
