Problème connexion internet [RESOLU]

Bonjour à tous,

avant toutes choses je souhaite une bonne année au forum, en espèrant voir se développer en 2011 toujours plus de logiciels et d'OS libres !

Je suis en train d'installer Ubuntu 10.10 sur une machine -un peu- ancienne ! Toute l'installation s'est déroulée correctement à partir du live CD mais je n'ai pas d'internet.

Je précise que :    * ma connexion fonctionne avec windows (2 ordis connectés avec CPL)
                             * je suis avec une neufbox sfr
                             * le pc sur lequel j'ai installé Ubuntu à fonctionné en ethernet avec windows
                             * le cable que j'ai installé sur le pc ubuntu vient directement de la box (sans passer par le cpl) et fonctionne parfaitement avec windows
                             * j'ai fait un ifconfig et il ne voit que "local loopback", pas d'eth0 ou 1 (j'en ai déduit qu'il ne voyait pas la carte ethernet)

Je signale aussi que mon niveau en informatique est proche de celui de la moule ou de l'huitre et que malheureusement pour vous il faudra me dire les choses comme lorsqu'on parle à un petit enfant !

Si tu fais un "ifconfig -a" et un "lspci" ça donne quoi?

Ça, c'est une carte bas débit, tu ne peux pas brancher un réseau Ethernet dessus.

Te faudrait une carte réseau, une vraie.

ce qui est étrange, c'est que ce pc a fonctionné sous windows avec une livebox branchée sur cette carte!

Ben si, c'est une carte réseau ça. Elle n'a pas l'air reconnue: c'est une carte Realtek (reconnaissable à son logo), et il n'y a pas de Realtek dans ton lspci.

Essaie de la brancher sur un autre port...

Est-ce que la diode de la carte réseau s'allume quand tu branches le câble (en le laissant branché de l'autre côté, bien entendu)?

je dis ptet une connerie (quoique je ne pense pas) mais il me semble que si la carte n est pas reconnue s est qu il manque le driver ...

Même sans driver, elle devrait être vue par le système.

Ré-essaie avec un:

lspci -vvv

Utilise la balise "code" wink

T'es certain qu'elle est bien branchée ta carte réseau, branchée correctement sur un port PCI?

Parce que là, on ne la voit pas du tout. Comme si elle était foutue. C'est très étrange.

Tu peux lire le modèle de la carte, sur la puce où y'a le logo?
On va tenter de modprober le bon module et de lire ce qui passe dans dmesg à ce moment-là.

Une R8169, ok.
