probleme avec beryl

bonjour,

Voilà j'ai un problème ca va faire bientôt deux jours que je me bats pour pouvoir utiliser beryl!!! je ne sais pas ce qui ne va pas si se sont les drivers ou quoi mais j ai fouillé presque partout j ai installer et reinstaller des paquets sans resultats concluant...si quelqu'un pourrait m'aider se serait vraiment gentil merci d'avance... a+

Ben sois plus précis quand même....

quelle est ta config ?
quelle est ta distro? on sait jamais
as tu suivis le wiki ?
lance beryl dans un tyerminal et recopie le message d'erreur

euh oui c'est vrai en ayant relut les conditions je me suis rendu compte que je suis a côté de la plaque je suis désolé...

Donc je tourne sur ubuntu 6.10 (edgy)
j'ai une carte graphique Nvidia GeForce2 mx 400(je sais c'est pas super mais si j'ai bien compris c'est quand même censé aller avec beryl)

donc bery dans le terminal sa donne ça:

donc ça c'est bon mais pour l'accéllération 3d j'ai ceci:

je ne sais pas quoi faire je suis passé par envy (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/envy) mais rien a faire....j'espere avoir été un peu plus précis et merci...

ps: je ne suis q'un débutant donc nul dans le domaine..

a priori, tu as bien installé le driver NVIDIA, mais tu n'as pas dit que tu voulais l'utiiliser.
(vois-tu un logo NVIDIA au démarrage ? je pense que non)

Regarde dans /etc/X11/xorg.conf :

tu dois avoir une section comme suit

Section "Module"
    Load           "i2c"
    Load           "bitmap"
    Load           "ddc"
    Load           "extmod"
    Load           "freetype"
    Load           "glx"
    Load           "int10"
    Load           "type1"
    Load           "vbe"
    Load           "v4l"
EndSection

et surtout une section comme ça:

Section "Device"
    Identifier     "NVIDIA ...."
    Driver         "nvidia"
EndSection

Tu peux déjà essayer de faire ces modifs, puis de relancer ton serveur X

sudo /etc/rc2.d/Sxxgdm restart

Because rules matter !

Alors j'ai essayer ta config mais j'ai toujours le même problème et surtout tout est en plus gros maintenant.....et le logo nvidia je l'ai au dömarrage depuis un moment...
