Nvidia MX 440 maximum résolution 800x600
Bonjour,
Je viens d'installer Ubuntu version 6.10. J'ai une carte Nvidia MX 440 et la résolution maximum est 800x600. Pourtant j'ai essayer d'installer la dernière version du driver Nvidia par le wiki de ce site. Tout semble avoir fonctionner pour l'installation sauf que c'est encore pire. J'ai maintenant une résolution de 640x480. Une chance que j'avais fait un backup du fichier Xorg.conf. Donc, je suis revenu avec une résolution de 800x600. Dans ce fichier il y a poutant toutes les résolutions désirées.
Est-ce qu'il y a quelqu'un qui une idée?

Bonsoir,
Tu peux essayer de rajouter ça dans dans la Section "Device" de ton xorg.conf (à la fin, sous "driver") :
Option "UseEDID" "False"Tu peux aussi tenter de changer les modes de 1280x1024 à 1280x1024_75 ou 1280x1024_80
Essayes un truc, puis rajoutes le second dans un deuxième temps, pour voir.

PS : utilises les balises [code] pour poster de long fichier comme le xorg.conf

Bonjour,
j'ai également le même problème avec une GeForce 2 Ti (NV15DDR) sous Feisty. Après installation de nvidia-glx-legacy via l'interface "Drivers propriétaires", l'accélération 3D fonctionne (glxgears marche), mais je reste bloqué en 800x600, malgré que des résolutions supérieures soient marquées dans le xorg.conf.
Lorsque j'utilise le driver générique nv, je passe en 1024x768, de manière tout à fait normale.
J'ai essayé l'option UseEDID False, mais ca ne change rien. De même pour les modes.
Avez-vous une autre piste ?

j'ai le meme probleme avec une nvidia tnt 2 32mo
