probleme xorg.conf...

Bonsoir à toutes et à tous, j'ai activer les drivers de ma carte nvidia pour pouvoir installer beryl, et j'ai un souci...
dans nvidia-settings je modifi ma resolution en 1152*864*32, et je fais save dans xorg.conf
seulement, quand je reboot ou simplement en redemarant le serveur x, sa repasse en 1024*768*32...

j'ai essayé une fois de rajouter 1152*864 a coté des resolutions ecrites mais sa n'a absolument rien changer : /

Tu dois ajouter la section :

SubSection "Display"
        Depth    32
        Modes       "1152x864"  "1024x768"    "800x600"    "640x480"
    EndSubSection

Et modifier la ligne    " Defaultdepth    24" en "    Defaultdepth    32"

Ensuite tu sauvegardes et tu rebootes ton serveur X.

euh sa fonctionne pas, ou alors je l'ai mal fait, tout ce que j'ai reussi a faire c'est de planter ma machine, et de passé en console pour enlevé ce que je venais de rajouter : /

Salut, j'ai eu le même style de problème que toi : http://forum.kubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=118497

En résumé ne pas sauvegardé son xorg.conf avec nvidia-settings mais le modifié a la main comme fredr te la dit. (sauf pour remplacer 24 par 32 je penses)

j'ai testé des deux façons, et en le modifiant a la main, lorsque je reboot, ben j'ai un ecran bleu avec un raport d'erreur qui m'indique que le serveur X est mal configuré, donc impossible d'avoir un mode graphique -_-'", j'ai reussi a la remetre en place avec nano, et donc toujours pas de 1152 par defaut.

en mode text refait un

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

puis il faudra remettre à la main les options qui vont bien

dans xorg.conf
