[RESOLU] Grub Rescue en dualboot :-(
Bonjour à tous,
J'utilisais la 14.04 en monoboot depuis 2 ans maintenant sans pb sur mon asus portable UX32.
J'ai changé mon DD pour un SSD de 500 Gb. Et j'en ai profité pour réinstaller W7 puis la 16.04 en côte à côte via une clé bootable.
Ça marchait impec jusqu'à ce que je m'apperçoive que les menu d'installation n'étant pas très clair (à moins que ce soit moi), ça s'était installé automatiquement sur l'iSSD SanDisk de 24Gb de la CM. Et ça m'arrange pas du tout. D'ailleurs, il va falloir que le désoude, mais c'est un autre pb.
J'ai voulu créer une partition de 250 Gb pour Linux toujours vierge. Mais depuis plus d'acces à Grub ou erreur donc plus d'acces à W7. Accès possible seulement à Ubuntu.
Quelqu'un pour me sortir de ce mauvais pas ?
J'ai cru comprendre que ça se joue dans grub.fg mais en bon newbie je sais pas où le trouver...

Ton Windows et installé sur le ssd de 500 Go en mode Bios_Legacy. pas de partition efi, disque avec table de partition de type Msdos. (partition étendue /sda3)
Ton Ubuntu est bien installé sur le SSD de 24 Go (il doit y être à l'étroit) , mais lui est installé en mode UEFI. partition efi /sdb2, table de partition de type GPT.
C'est une installation bancale, on doit installer dans le même mode; Ou tout en UEFI, ou tout en Bios_Legacy.
Pour que ton Windows marche, il faut démarrer la machine en mode Bios_Legacy , machine bootant sur le SSD de 500 Go. Tu ne pourras pas lancer Ubuntu depuis ce disque.
Pour que ton Ubuntu marche, il faut démarrer la machine en mode UEFI, la machine bootant sur le SSD de 24 Go. Tu ne pourras pas lancer Windows depuis ce disque.
Tu peux vérifier si ce que je dis marche...
Si çà démarre bien comme je l'indique, soit tu continues de "vivre" comme çà . Soit tu réinstalles ton Ubuntu en mode Bios-Legacy.
C'est ce que tu devrais faire, mais en dual boot sur le SSD de 500 Go.
Tu avais certainement du prévoir de l'installer dans la partition /sda5, elle est vide, mais formatée en ext3. Vaudrait mieux la formater en ext4.
Tu peux réfléchir à la proposition suivante.
En session live du Ubuntu que tu veux installer. Démarrée en mode Bios_Legacy.
Avec Gparted, dans le SSD de 500 Go, tu formates la partition /sda5 en ext4.
Édit, j'oubliais;
Tu peux réduire /sda5 pour faire une partition swap de 4 Go maxi si tu as besoin de swap.
Pour éviter les "cagates", tu supprimes les partitions de Ubuntu du SSD de24 Go.
Tu lances l'installation et à l'étape "Type d'installation" tu choisis "Autre chose".
Tu vas pouvoir sélectionner la partition /dev/sda5 pour préparer l'installation.
Sélection de /dev/sda5 .
Un clic sur "Changer".
Dans la fenêtre qui s'ouvre;
Taille, on n'y touche pas.
Dans; Utiliser comme, tu choisis "système de fichiers journalisé ext4"
Dans; Point de montage, tu choisis " / "
Tu coches "Formater"
Si çà te convient tu fais suivant (valides) .
Retour dans la fenêtre qui montre les disques et partitions.
Dans "chargeur d'amorçage" " indiquer ou installer le programme de démarrage" pour installer Grub tu choisis /dev/sda sans n° de partition
Tu peux continuer l'installation.
Si çà marche, tu pourras faire ce que tu veux du SSD de 24 Go. En lui remettant une table de partition de type Msdos.

Le problème va consister à faire en sorte que ce message indique que le boot est en NON EFI en refaisant le boot-info.
Je crains que cela ne soit pas si facile à faire vu le peu de doc.
=> Je crains que cet ordinateur ne donne pas le choix de dire que le boot LEGACY est à favoriser par rapport au boot EFI mais que sa logique soit
Je boote en EFI et si cela ne fonctionne pas, je tente en LEGACY...
Pour le moment, il est quasi impossible de transformer une installation faire en EFI pour lui mettre un menu de boot LEGACY sans passer par une réinstallation.

Bon ben, je m'en suis sorti, finalement ;-)
J'ai galérer pas mal de temps en fouillant le bios et ses options mais en vain
et puis...quand j'ai voulu booter sur ma clé-live, il m'a proposé EFI ou non pour la clé (mais pas Legacy) :-)
J'ai pris cette option et... réinstallé sur ma partition que j'ai passé en ext4 et ça a marché : j'ai un grub nickel
par contre il me reste à reformater ou déssouder mon iSSD de 24 Go
