Kubuntu 14.04 LTS à coté de Windows7, problème de partitionnement
Bonsoir à tous.
Après avoir essayé pas mal de tutos sur l'installation de Kubuntu Trusty Tahr LTS à coté de Windows 7 je désespère un peu. J'ai essayé Webo mais çà ne marche pas, j'ai un message d'erreur qui m'indique que le système ne peut pas être lancé. J'ai réussi à installer Kubuntu après partitionnement mais le système démarre sous Windows 7 sans passer par le menu Grub. J'ai aussi essayé Rescue disk boot pour essayer de rétablir le double boot sans succès. Il m'a permis de rétablir le MBR de Windows.
Je me soumets donc à votre aide pour repartitionner mon ordi car je pense que tous les problèmes viennent d'une erreur que j'ai dû faire lors de cette étape.
J'ai gardé 18go pour Kubuntu sans mémoire swap car j'ai 12go de mémoire, c'est peut-être une erreur.
Le DD de 30,23 go est la clé usb live que j'ai utilisé pour faire la capture.

Salut,
D'après ce que je vois, tu n'as que des partitions ntfs. Si ton linux est censé être déjà installé quelque part, ce n'est pas bon.
Si tu as utilisé wubi, ton linux est plus ou moins installé en tant que programme windows... En plus ça ne fonctionne pas vraiment avec les versions actuelles. Un conseil, va sous w$ et désinstalle ça, comme tu ferais avec n'importe quel programme windows...
Je vois aussi un espace non alloué de taille suffisante pour mettre linux (dans la partition étendue sda4). Relance le live et gparted, sélectionne l'espace libre, crée une partition logique formatée en ext4. Valide, puis commence l'installation.
Lors de l'étape de partitionnement, choisis "Autre" (manuel). Tu sélectionnes la partition ext4, modifier. Tu gardes les valeurs par défaut (taille, format ext4...) et tu indiques juste le point de montage, en l'occurrence la racine du système ( / ).
Je crois qu'il y a aussi, sur le même écran (?), un truc sur grub. Vérifie qu'il te le met bien sur sda et pas sur sda5.
Tu confirmes tout ça, puis tu termines l'installation...
Edit : je viens de voir que tu ne sembles pas avoir le net. Un conseil : si possible branche ta bécane par câble, au moins le temps d'installer. Parce que les paquets linguistiques ne sont pas sur l'iso (pour cause : il y a une foule de langues possibles). Donc sans le net, tu l'auras en globish pour commencer, éventuellement même avec un clavier qwerty (=> pour avoir manos, il faut taper ,qnos)...

J'ai réalisé les manips en question, toujours pas de double boot au démarrage. Du coup j'ai réparé le MBR de Windows et réalisé ce rapport avec Boot rescue disk.

Re : Kubuntu 14.04 LTS à coté de Windows7, problème de partitionnement
A noter que le pc en question ne dispose pas d'entrée filaire pour se connecter à internet, ou je n'ai pas le câble, la carte wi-fi n'est pas reconnue, c'est un Asus de dernière génération TP300LA, donc c'est une complication complémentaire. Je me connecte via un une autre machine.
