[Résolu] Espace insuffisant du repertoire Racine - r592 et R5C592
Bonjour,
j'ai fait une mise à niveau de mon installation de Ubuntu 14.04 LTS à Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Depuis à chaque démarage j'ai un message me signalant un espace insuffisant du repertoire Racine.
J'ai effectué le nettoyage selon les indications trouvées dans la documentation. Supression des anciens noyaux, fichiers temporaires, poubelle, ... je n'ai toujours que 0 octets de disponible.
Mon Pc est un
Asus X71Q 64 bits 3 Go RAM
Processeur: intel Pentium Dual CPU T3200 2.00GHz x 2
Carte graphique: Mobile intel GM45 Express Chipset
Disque: 320 Go
J'ai suivi la discussion de yoyo_et_yoyo concernant le même problème. J'ai donc suivi les premiers conseils de cqfd93 et j'ai lancé les commandes suivantes:

Lis les 2 1ers message du tutoriel dans ma signature.
Puis
sudo apt-get install ncdu
puis donne le retour de
sudo ncdu -x /
sans omettre de donner la dernière ligne "total".

Tu peux supprimer les lignes inférieures à 5 ou 10 Mio, qui ne sont pas pertinentes dans ton cas. Mais donne bien les premières et la dernière.

L'image, c'est lourd donc c'est de la pollution énergétique (transfert, stockage, re-transferts).
En plus elle ne permet pas le copier-coller facile, genre :

Ni l'ajout de commentaires comme ceci :

et enfin
donne les 2 lignes actualisées de /var et de /usr.

Méfiance !
Une taille de 9,5Go dans /var, ça peut aussi être le signe d'un fichier log fou qui a grossi et qui remplit l'espace. À vérifier en plus des archives de /var/apt...
Plus de 50 ans d'informatique, ça en fait des lignes de commandes en console, mais on n'avait pas le choix...
Excellente raison pour, aujourd'hui qu'on le peut, utiliser au maximum les INTERFACES GRAPHIQUES !

Les logs enregistrent l'activité du système.
Ils sont donc très utiles pour détecter ce qui va de travers !
Donne
cat /var/log/kern.log.1 | head -n 10
cat /var/log/kern.log | tail -n 50
et
cat /var/log/syslog | tail -n 50
/!\ Ne cherche pas à retaper les commandes, tu les copies-colles.
Tu pourras supprimer juste après kern.log.1 qui ne nous servira plus. Ça libérera déjà 4,3 Gio !

Plusieurs choses peuvent enfler monstrueusement un log.
Les premières idées qui me reviennent sont
- un lecteur de cartes que le système teste sans arrêt, comme s'il venait d'être branché ;
- un lecteur multimedia (cas d'audacious, au moins dans sa version pour *buntu 12.04) qui panique quand il y a une voyelle accentuée dans le tag d'un fichier ;
- un mauvais réglage du système sur la carte wifi ;
- et les possibilités sont innombrables, mais tes logs vont nous renseigner.

Confirmes-tu que tu as un SSD ?
Bizarre aussi, qu'il y ait eu une seule rotation de kern.log entre le 19 et le 30 septembre.
(Les logs en effet changent de nom au fil des jours :
xxx.log devient xxx.log.1 pendant qu'un nouveau xxx.log est créé,
et le dernier de la liste est supprimé.
Ce qui limite le nombre de logs, tout en conservant la trace sur plusieurs jours ou semaines).
Pendant que je cherche sur la toile, peux-tu ouvrir un autre onglet et donner
cat /var/log/dmesg | head -n 800
s'il te plaît ? (oui, les 800 1ères lignes ! )

Pour info, je n'ai qu'un écran (c'est un PC portable), par contre j'ai en ce moment un disque externe Toshiba de branché sur un port USB qui me sert pour mes sauvegardes.
