Problème `grub_is_lockdown' suite à une mise à jour.

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai un nouveau souci avec mon Linux depuis une semaine. Suite à une mise à jour, mon PC a gelé.
Depuis, je n'arrive plus à démarrer ubuntu normalement. Lorsque je démarre l'ordinateur et que je vais sur l'entrée habituelle dans rEFInd (Boot EFI\ubuntu\grub64.efi), j'ai le message suivant :

error : symbol `grub_is_lockdown' not found.

Par chance, j'ai pu démarrer ubuntu à partir d'une autre entrée de rEFInd (Boot boot\vmlinuz-4.15.0-143-generic from sympa) mais de celle-ci je n'arrive pas à faire de mises à jour ou de réparation :  l'ordinateur "gèle" à chacune de mes tentatives. J'ai quand même pu faire un boot-info que voici.

Vous m'aviez déjà aidé à résoudre un problème de gel avec le même ordinateur ici.

Depuis j'ai réussi à passer à ubuntu 18 et à installer rEFInd.

J'ai un PC portable ACER Aspire ES1-732-P8JS sur lequel sont installés Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS et Windows 10 en dual boot.
J'ai essayé de trouver une solution sur les nombreux posts sur le modèle ES1-732 sans succès. J'ai peur d'avoir mis un peu le bazar.

Le noyau 4.4.0-151, n'est pas dégagé, il faut utiliser la procédure de la Doc > kernel#via_autoremove

extrait § 5.1 a écrit :

En pratique, si un ou plusieurs vieux noyaux résistent à la purge, il suffit de passer cette commande dans le terminal :

Bon, on peut supprimer ce noyau :

Et refaire un sources.list tout propre :
Copie tout le bloc qui suit et colle-le en une seule fois dans le terminal (termine avec Entrée) :

C'est déjà ça ! Est-ce que tu arrives à démarrer ton ordinateur normalement avec le dernier noyau installé 4.15.0-144 ?

Je ne connais pas rEFInd, donc je ne vais pas pouvoir t'aider davantage pour ça.

Oui, pas de difficultés, j'arrive à démarrer sur  4.15.0-144.  Par contre, je n'ai plus la "roue de secours" que j'avais avant.

Je ne sais pas si c'est ukuu, mais je reçois régulièrement des messages (au démarrage plus un toutes les heures environ) me proposant de "mettre à jour le noyau" et de passer au 5.1.14. Est-il conseillé de faire cette mise à jour ?

Sinon, est-ce que ça vaut le coup de passer à ubuntu 20 ? J'avais essayé mais le pc gelait sur l'écran de chargement avec le liveUSB. Ce n'est peut-être plus le cas.

Dans l'immédiat, je vais quand même essayer de réparer rEFInd et l'entrée défectueuse.

Oui, ça vient de ukuu. Non seulement je ne conseille pas de réinstaller ce 5.1.14, mais je ne conseille pas de garder ukuu. Au cours de cette discussion, tu démarrais avec le 4.15.0-143 et pas avec le 5.1, est-ce que tu n'arrivais pas à démarrer sur le 5.1 et c'est pour ça que tu démarrais sur le 4.15 ?

Lorsque je lance rEFInd au démarrage de l'ordinateur, j'ai plusieurs possibilités (un peu comme grub je crois). Je peux choisir Windows10 et jusqu'à il y a une semaine, je pouvais démarrer ubuntu soit sur le noyau 5.1, soit sur le 4.15 sur lequel je suis actuellement. Depuis une semaine le démarrage sur 5.1 conduit au message d'erreur du post #1, je pouvais encore démarrer sur 4.15 mais avec des mises à jour impossibles. Le problème semble réparé et je ne vois plus de problèmes particuliers.

Maintenant si le 4.15 tombe en rade (avec une mise à jour par exemple) comme l'a fait le 5.1, je n'ai plus d'accès facile à ubuntu. Du coup j'aimerais avoir à nouveau une deuxième entrée valide même si les deux peuvent sauter en même temps.

J'avais déjà essayé mais peut-être pas les bonnes options. Je vais retenter mais avant j'ai encore un peu de lecture sur rEFInd, Grub, et mon problème initial : "symbol grub is lockdown not found".
Je ne suis d'ailleurs pas sûr que ce soit un problème lié directement à rEFInd.

Tu as 2 noyaux 4.15 installés : 4.15.0-143 et 4.15.0-144. Il est fort peu probable qu'ils tombent tous les deux en rade après une mise à jour et ça a beaucoup moins de risque de se produire qu'avec un 5.1 fourni par ukuu qui n'est pas standard pour ubuntu et qui lui risque de casser quelque chose à la suite d'une mise à jour.
