Installation deuxième disque dur interne-Résolu
Bonjour !
Mon ordinateur possède deux disques dur de 120 Go chacun. J'étais récemment en dual-boot, Windows 7 sur un disque et Kubuntu 14.04 sur l'autre.
N'utilisant plus Windows, j'ai décidé de ne garder que Kubuntu. L'installation s'est passée à peu près sans souci. Mais maintenant, je n'arrive pas à utiliser le deuxième disque car je n'arrive pas à le "monter".
Comment faire ? Vaut-il mieux le formater en ext 4 comme l'autre ou en NTFS N? Quel point de montage faut-il mettre pour l'utiliser comme stockage (documents, images, vidéos, fichiers divers, ...) ?
Si je dois repasser par une installation complète, ce n'est pas un souci. Mais je ne suis pas un dieu en informatique : donc explications simples, s'il vous plaît.
Je rappelle : je travaille sous Kubuntu 14.04; j'ai un disque dur avec le système installé sur une partition du disque 1, le home sur une autre partition du disque 1 et le swap sur une troisième partition du disque 1.
Je n'arrive pas à accéder au disque 2.

Bonjour
Peux-tu faire un rapport bisnext car ce n'est pas normal que tu ne puisses accéder à ton second disque.
Toutes ses partitions devront être supprimées et remplacées par une unique partition au format ext4
que tu pourras éventuellement monter en automatique sur un point de montage /DATA ou /home/$USER/DATA
Utiliser REFIND au lieu du GRUB https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/refind . Aidez à vous faire dépanner en suivant le guide et en utilisant les outils de diagnostic J'ai perdu ma gomme. Désolé pour les fautes d'orthographes non corrigées.

Bonjour et merci pour la réponse rapide.
Je pense savoir d'où vient le problème, mais je ne sais pas le résoudre.
J'ai été obligé de réinstaller mon système. J'ai donc mis Kubuntu 14.04, le "home" et le "swap" sur sda 1. Mais quand il a fallu mettre un point de montage sur sdb 1 (mon second disque dur), je n'ai pas su quoi mettre. J'ai mis "home", mais le système a refusé car "home" était déjà présent sur sda 1.
J'ai donc formaté en ext 4 sans mettre de point de montage en pensant résoudre le problème une fois l'installation finie. C'est peut-être possible, mais je ne sais pas faire.
Mon disque dur sdb 1 est visible, je peux le reformater, mais je ne peux pas écrire dessus. Il n'est pas monter.
Ci-joint le rapport bisnext demandé (j'espère que c'est bien ça, car je n'y connais pas grand chose; j'ai suivi les instructions sur l'aide Ubuntu).

Je l'ai aussi sur mon ordi ce fameux Bisnext, mais je ne sais pas quoi en faire.
Est-ce que Gparted pourrait résoudre mon souci ? Avec l'éditeur de partitions installé sur Kubuntu, je n'y arrive pas.

Si la valeur 5a43c265-125e-4b0e-ba2e-b44cb15784f0 t'embêtes, tu peux utiliser gparted pour mettre une etiquette, un label a cette partition.

Pour monter automatiquement sdb1 au démarrage à un emplacement compréhensible, fais-le apparaître dans le fichier /etc/fstab en y ajoutant
# sdb1 on /media/DD2
UUID=5a43c265-125e-4b0e-ba2e-b44cb15784f0 /media/DD2 ext4 defaults 0 2
Crée le point de montage
sudo mkdir /media/DD2
Monte le total sans devoir redémarrer
sudo mount -a

Merci à vous deux, Bougron et sinbad83; mais sans vouloir vous vexer: j'ai rien compris à vos messages.
Comme dit dans mon premier message, je ne suis pas informaticien.
Tout ce que je peux vous dire, c'est que dans le dossier etc je n'ai pas de dossier fstab mais un dossier fstab.d et que je ne peux rien écrire dedans.
J'ai tapé les commandes décrites dans la konsole, mais rien ne se passe.

Ton fichier fstab est bien présent autrement ubuntu ne mettrait pas en route. Tu regardes mal dans la liste
contentes-toi de faire la commande
sudo gedit /etc/fstab
Tu y verras son contenu.
Peux-tu aussi donner le retour de
sudo ls -Rls /media/patrick/5a43c265-125e-4b0e-ba2e-b44cb15784f0
Quelques explications
Ceci est le point de montage standard du disque
Tu peux modifier "5a43c265-125e-4b0e-ba2e-b44cb15784f0" qui est le nom officiel du disque en y mettant une étiquette avec gparted par exemple "DD2"
Le disque sera alors monté sur
/media/patrick/DD2
Simbad83 te propose un montage automatique pour t'éviter d'avoir à cliquer sur l'icône du disque afin de provoquer son montage.
a) Il faut créer le point de montage avec la commande
sudo mkdir /media/DD2
b) Il faut te rendre propriétaire du point de montage avec la commande
sudo chown $USER:$USER /media/DD2
c) Il faut que tu modifies le fichier fstab pour indiquer ce point de montage.
1) Lire le fichier avec la commande
sudo gedit /etc/fstab
2) Ajouter les deux lignes indiquées par simba83 en fin de fichier
3)Sauver le fichier
4) Quitter gedit
d) Vérifier que la codification est bien bonne avec les commandes
sudo mount -a
ls -Rls /media/DD2
Nota: Par la suite, lorsque tu booteras, le montage sera automatique.
Tu pourras, éventuellement; y rediriger automatiquement ton répertoireTéléchargements ou quelques autres.
Ajout: La méthode normale est de faire un copier/coller du texte affiché à l'écran.

Bonjour à tous !
J'ai résolu mon problème, au risque de faire crier les informaticiens.
Malgré vos conseils à tous, rien ne fonctionnait. Les commandes entrées dans le terminal me donnaient : "command not found"; ou "dossier inexistant" ou encore "dossier inaccessible". Ou alors rien ne se passait.
Quand aux fichiers infos sur mon système ou mes disques, je ne savais pas quoi en fairer. Désolé !
J'ai donc sauvegardé tous mes dossiers. J'ai débranché le disque dur en question (physiquement). J'ai réinstallé mon système (Kubuntu 14.04) sur 1 seul disque. Ensuite , j'ai rebranché mon deuxième disque dur. Je l'ai formaté avec le Live CD kubuntu (en prenant bien soin de mettre un point de montage cette fois, puisque grâce à vous je savais quoi mettre). J'ai redémarré mon ordi et ça fonctionne : mon second disque dur est reconnu, monter et je peux lire et écrire dessus.
Merci à tous. Je vais essayer de trouver comment on met "résolu", même si je n'ai pas utiliser la méthode la plus simple, la plus rapide et la plus orthodoxe.
