[Résolu] Enième installation Ubuntu 14.04.1 & Windows 8.1

Bonjour à vous tous,

Récemment, j'ai acheté un petit Ace Aspire E11 E3-112-C9WF. Ce dernier possède, comme la plupart des ordinateurs récents, Windows 8.1 de préinstallé (UEFI). Pour diverse raison, je souhaitais passer sous Ubuntu et entrer dans la superbe communauté des utilisateurs Linux/GNU et j'aimerais garder Windows en dualboot.

Seulement voilà, j'ai commencé hier à 17h, et à l'heure d'aujourd'hui je n'ai toujours pas réussi. J'y ai passé toute la journée et autant dire que ça me déprime un peu d'y avoir passé autant de temps...

Mon problème est qu'une fois Ubuntu installé, mon ordinateur démarre directement sur Windows et le Grub semble totalement inexistant. J'ai tenté tous les tutos que j'ai trouvé sur ce site (ou ailleurs notamment celui-ci dont je remercie l'auteur), j'ai tenté de réinstaller plusieurs fois, j'ai utilisé Boot-repair etc... mais cela n'a rien donné. J'ai vu sur le forum qu'il y avait pleins de sujets là dessus, mais tout ce qui y était dis n'a pas fonctionné. Or, comme j'ai lu qu'il était préférable de refaire un sujet plutôt que de reposter dans celui d'un autre alors me voilà.

Bonjour,

Vu ton boot-info, le plus dur est fait smile Ubuntu et Windows sont tous les deux installés sur ton PC. Reste plus qu'un problème de boot. N'ayant jamais installé Ubuntu en dual-boot à coté de W$8, je ne vais pas pouvoir t'aider... mais je sais que tu es près du but smile

lis donc cette page:

où il est conseillé de fabriquer une petite partition supplementaire pour le demarage du systeme et où boot-repair installera le systeme de demarage uefi. il te faut redemarer avec le cd, et utiliser gparted pour fabriquer cette partition (500mega, formatee en fat32 avec le drapeau(flag) boot, et il faut enlever celui de existant sur sda2.

je viens de relir le rapport, avant de faire celà essai de rentrer dans le selecteur de systeme f12 je crois il y a des entrees pour ubuntu dans sda2 (partition de demarage efi) si f12 ne fonctionne pas essai d'autre touche de fonction.

Bonjour à vous deux,

@Eturnal : Si tu parles du manager boot, c'est effectivement F12 et lorsque je l'utilise, il ne me met que le Windows Loader en et rien d'autre hmm De la même manière qu'en faisant la démarche "Shift+Redémarrer", puis EFI Périphériques, il n'y a pas ubuntu ni rien.

Sinon, sur le lien que tu m'as donné, il est mis que pour les version supérieure à 12.0, c'est une précaution obsolète, du coup je ne suis pas certain que cela soit utile, si ? :s

j'ai lu ...
pardon à eturnal mais voilà le type de réponse qui me laisse muet d'incompréhension et qui me renforce dans l'idée que ubuntu n'est pas fait pour les amateurs. ou alors il faut trouver des ordis avec ubuntu pré-installé à la place de windows. j'ai cherché mais ici on ne peut pas commander ce type de matériel. quand aux vendeurs de matériel informatique, tout ceux que j'ai vu m'ont dit non.

Bonsoir Malbo,

Tout d'abord merci de prendre du temps pour essayer de m'aider ^^

J'ai transformé ma liveUSB 14.0.1 en Super Grub2 Disk comme tu me l'a proposé et j'ai effectivement pu lancer Ubuntu avec succès (je suis actuellement dessus). Maintenant, cela prouve bien qu'Ubuntu est installé, mais je cherche un moyen de réparer Grub 2. J'ai essayé en suivant ce tutoriel ici, seulement ça n'a pas fonctionné...

Que me conseillerais-tu de faire pour ne pas avoir a lancer le liveUSB a chaque fois que je souhaite lancer Ubuntu ? Comment puis-je réparer cela ? :s

Tu n'as pas à être désolé : tu t'en sors très bien.
Je te prie de démarrer sur ton Ubuntu installé - en passant par la LiveUSB SG2D - et de réaliser toute la procédure décrite dans ce [Tuto] Remettre Ubuntu en priorité de boot devant Windows 8.1
Avant de redémarrer, je te prie de coller ici dans ta réponse, tout ce que tu auras obtenu dans le terminal (les commandes et les résultats de ces commandes comme on voit dans le Tuto) afin que je puisse vérifier comment ça s'est passé. Ensuite, tu pourras redémarrer l'ordi pour constater sur quoi il démarre par défaut (Windows ou le menu Grub).

Qui, je crois si je comprends bien, m'indique que les LiveUSB sont prioritaires et qu'ensuite c'est le Windows Loader etc... Ce qui jusque là est logique, puisque j'utilise un liveUSB pour aller sur Ubuntu actuellement. Le soucis étant qu'Ubuntu n'apparait pas du tout dans cette liste.

À 

sudo grub-install

j'obtiens normalement le 

Installing for x86_64-efi platform.
Installation terminée, sans erreur.

Puis je fais la vérification 

sudo efibootmgr -v

et j'obtiens

Là on voit qu'Ubuntu est bien présent et qu'il est mit en priorité. Donc en théorie ça devrait marcher au redémarrage, je croise les doigts ^^

P-S : Oui, je décris mes conclusions, mais c'est parce que j'essaie de comprendre ce que je fais dans le terminal, sinon ça servirait pas à grand chose, j'aime bien savoir quand même ahah.

EDIT : Le redémarrage s'est effectué à nouveau sur Windows hmm

Du coup, j'ai lancé une nouvelle vérification pour voir ce qui s'était passé et voilà le résultat :

Concrètement si je comprends bien, ubuntu est toujours là mais n'apparait même pas dans la liste des priorités hmm Il doit y avoir quelque chose qui l'enlève automatiquement ou je sais pas :s

EDIT 2 : Du coup cela m'a mis sur la voie. J'ai enfin réussi à faire marcher GRUB2 à force de googler et de chercher sur le net. J'ai fini par trouver une petite astuce qui, si j'ai bien compris, consiste à toujours passer par le Windows Bootloader, sauf que ce dernier pointe vers Grub et non pus vers Windows, plutôt , que de tenter de lui faire passer Grub direct en priorité.

Cette solution a été de faire, depuis Windows 8.1, la manip suivante dans Cmd.exe en mode administrateur : 

bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi

Depuis que j'ai fais ça, cela fonctionne (j'avais essayé en faisant pointer vers shimx64.efi au début mais sans succès). Du coup ma vérification EFI donne ceci désormais :

Formidable. Tu as trouvé la solution pour contourner le verrouillage imaginé par ces gros vicieux de concepteurs de ton système UEFI. Je vais noter ça dans mes tablettes.

salut je déterre ton post, il m'intéresse...
tu as donc pu contourner la protection de ces "gros vicieux de concepteurs du système UEFI" tongue en utilisant windows bootloader qui pointe vers grub, est ce que cela signifie qu'on doit conserver windows en dual boot avec un linux ?
ou bien une fois, cette astuce mise au point, on peut formater la partition windows pour l'utiliser comme du stockage par exemple ? parce que je suppose que les fichiers de configuration de windows bootloader sont sur la partition windows (du coup le bootloader risque de renvoyer une erreur ).

Pour ta question personnelle, je te suggère de créer une nouvelle discussion dans la section adaptée du forum : "Questions et informations avant l'installation". L'info essentielle à donner dès le premier post de cette nouvelle discussion, c'est le nom complet du modèle et le fabricant de ton ordi. Et il faudra bien affirmer clairement (si j'ai bien compris ?) que ton but est de virer Windows 8 préinstallé pour le remplacer par Ubuntu (ou une de ses variantes).

Désolé pour le déterrage, si je vire directement windows et que j'installe uniquement Ubuntu, je n'aurais pas de probleme?
Ce petit PC me tente bien mais je suis vraiment pas familier avec l'UEFI, j'ai que des vieilles bécane ou des truc acheté sans OS.
Du coup j'hesite un peu à acheter ce modele si deriere je galere à avoir un linux fonctionel dessus.

Merci si quelqu'un peu m'eclairer un peu.

Si il y a possibilité d'installer un ubuntu en simple boot sans trop de galere et sans se prendre la tete avec les pilotes deriere.

PS : Pirat, peu tu retourner un lspci pour voir excatement ce qu'il y a dedans?
