Bonjour,

J'ai récemment acheté un pc MSI GL62M 7RDX-2646XFR, voici la config :

Processeur : Intel Core i5-7300HQ
Carte Graphique : Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050
8 Go de RAM

Il est vendu sans OS, j'ai donc installé Ubuntu 18.04 LTS afin de découvrir l’environnement GNU/Linux.
Le pc démarre correctement, cependant il freeze dans les cas suivants :

- Si j'essaye d'éteindre le pc (déjà essayé la commande shutdown -h now le résultat est le même)
- Lorsque je lance certains programmes installés à l'origine tels que Rhythmbox
- Lorsque que j'essaye d'accéder à l'interface de réglages de l'ordinateur

De plus si je mets le pc en veille je ne peux plus en sortir, dans tous les cas je dois l'éteindre en maintenant le bouton d'alimentation.
Pour le pilote graphique j'ai essayé avec le pilote de base (xserver-xorg) et le pilote nvidia préinstallé.

Hello Valkera,

1) Un pilote nvidia préinstallé ?
Pourrais-tu décrire comment tu as procédé à l'installation de ce pilote ?

2) y-a-t-il 2 « cartes » graphiques sur ce pc, la nvidia et une intel intégrée ?

Depuis un terminal, copie-colle ici, entre balises codes ( voir liens en signature, notamment les retours de commandes ) la réponse de :

sudo lshw

ça donnera un descriptif détaillé de ta machine.
N'oublie pas les balises code, le retour est assez long.

Le pilote nvidia est installé en même temps qu'ubuntu et est présent dans l'onglet "Pilotes additionnels" du logiciel "Logiciels & mises à jours"

En effet, il y a la carte graphique nvidia et la carte graphique du processeur.

Quand je tape sudo lshw j'ai le retour suivant :

PCI (sysfs)

et le pc freeze, je ne peux donc pas te donner le résultat attendu, désolé sad

Ok. Je ne pense pas que le pilote nvidia s'installe en même temps qu'Ubuntu, mais plutôt quand tu l'actives dans « Pilotes additionnels », mais qu'importe, tu es allé au bon endroit.

Il faudrait s'assurer que la bonne carte est utilisée avec le bon pilote.

Peut-être cette commande plus « light »

Un « freeze » ça peut aussi être de la ram qui sature…

free -h

et

top

la première donnant juste l'état de la ram,
la seconde listant les tâches et leur occupation cpu, mémoire, etc…
ctrl+c pour quitter la seconde et revenir au prompt du terminal ( ou fermer le terminal ).

On aura aussi des infos s'il s'agit d'un problème matériel dans

dmesg | tail -32

donnera les 32 dernières lignes de la sortie, donc à faire juste après un freeze.
Sinon dmesg tout court donnera une très longue liste d'événements matériels depuis que ton pc est allumé.

Et autre question : avant installation avais-tu testé la 18.04 sur ton PC en live-session depuis usb, sans installer ?

Pour la première commande plus "light", le pc freeze aussi.
Pour la ram pas de pb

cette doc, §3 a écrit :

sous Ubuntu, le gestionnaire de pilote propriétaires propose l'installation des pilotes propriétaires nVidia (en indiquant la mention "recommandé", ce qui induit l'utilisateur en erreur), il NE faut surtout PAS procéder à l'installation de ces pilotes, l'installation de ceux-ci résultera soit à un écran noir au prochain redémarrage, soit si on a de la chance, à une simple perte de l'accélération 3D fournie par la carte Intel, ce qui se verra par un basculement d'Unity vers Unity 2D et l'impossibilité d'utiliser un programme nécessitant des capacités 3D. La solution est de démarrer en mode de récupération si nécessaire pour accéder à un terminal, puis de lancer ceci : sudo apt-get purge nvidia-current, et normalement, l'accélération graphique devrait fonctionner de nouveau.

Est évoqué plus loin bumblebee mais qui ne fonctionne pas sous bionic. Il semble qu'il faut préférer https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/prime. Qui lui a besoin du pilote proprio nvidia.
Je ne saurais pas t'aider davantage, donc avant de bidouiller dans tous les sens attends d'autres interventions.

Pour ce que j'en comprends :
- à priori ça devrait fonctionner sans intervention majeure si tu n'installes pas le pilote proprio nvidia ( peut-être pas top au niveau performances ? )
- si tu veux utiliser le pilote proprio, alors il faut passer par prime.
- bumblebee, marche pas sous zesty/bionic ( ou juste sous wayland ??? )

Ça peut paraître anachronique : aurais-tu plus de chance en testant ( live ) une 16.04LTS plutôt que la 18.04 ? La 16.04 est supportée jusqu'en 2021, et avant cette date tu pourrais basculer vers 18.04 quand elle prendra en charge ton pc ?

Je n'ai pas de matériel optimus nvidia pour tester ici.

J'ai utilisé la version 18.04, cependant il y a quelques différences, prime indicator n'est plus disponible (enfin je crois), et dans la commande de la partie 5 :

sudo apt-get install nvidia-367 nvidia-libopencl1-367 nvidia-opencl-icd-367 nvidia-prime nvidia-settings mesa-utils prime-indicator

Il faut changer le numéro du driver (367 ici) par celui actuel (390 pour mon cas) et je n'ai pas pu installer nvidia-libopencl1 et nvidia-opencl-icd, cela a quand même fonctionné.

J'espère avoir été compréhensible et merci à Coeur Noir de m'avoir aidé et aussi à l'auteur de ce tutoriel.

Merci bcp pour ce petit tuto, je l'ai suivi pour Ubuntu 16.04 !
Seul petit problème, quand je connecte l'ordi à ma télé Samsung (smart tv) en HDMI, la télé est reconnu sur l'ordinateur (xrandr marque HDMI-1-2 comme connecté et je peux voir la télé dans les paramètres d'affichage)
Mais ma télé affiche "aucun cable connecté". Pourtant elle fonctionne avec un autre ordinateur HP également sous Ubuntu 16.04 avec le même cable HDMI.
J'ai essayé de brancher mon ordinateur a un écran d'ordi en VGA via a un adapteur VGA/Type-C et ça fonctionne également !

Tu n'as pas de problème similaire Valkera par hasard ?

Je viens d'essayer et le câble avec un câble HDMI et ça fonctionne très bien, rien à faire l’écran s'affiche directement sur la télé.
