[Résolu] En dual boot Ubuntu/Windows10 : Je perds Ubuntu !?
Bonjour,
En 3 ans, c'est ma 3ème tentative d'installation d'Ubuntu et c'est mon 3ème échec ! Echec que je ne comprends pas.
L'installation se fait correctement. Je redémarre. Je vérifie l'ordre du boot qui, sur mon PC, est automatiquement sur Ubuntu en numéro 1. Je poursuis le déroulé et j'ai l'écran GNU GRUB qui s'affiche avec les choix : 1° Ubuntu 2°Options avancées pour Ubuntu 3° Windows Boot Manager 4° System setup. Je choisis "Ubuntu" qui s'ouvre parfaitement.
Jusque là aucun problème ...
Le problème surgit au démarrage suivant, le 2ème. La vérification du boot montre que Ubuntu a disparu et que Windows Boot Manager est placé en numéro 1. La poursuite du déroulé de lancement se fait naturellement sur windows boot manager et plus sur le GNU GRUB.
J'ai recommencer l'installation pensant avoir fait une bourde mais cela se passe de nouveau de la même manière.
Voyez-vous quel est le problème et comment je peux le résoudre ?
Petit complément : Dans la gestion des disques de windows, la partition où se situe Ubuntu apparaît avec aucun système de fichier et 100% libre (???)

Depuis une session du Ubuntu installé, je te prie de faire un Boot-Info et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

Comme toujours, le diable est dans les détails ...
La séquence que j'ai opéré c'est un redémarrage de Ubuntu, puis un deuxième redémarrage et lancement de windows 10 en sélectionnant Windows Boot Manager, puis un troisième redémarrage (le 2ème pour Ubuntu) pour relancer Ubuntu et c'est la que cela ne fonctionne plus.
J'ai donc opéré une petite dizaine de redémarrage en sélectionnant Ubuntu à chaque fois et cela fonctionne. MAIS si je sélectionne Windows Boot Manager, alors la structure du boot revient à son état premier avec Windows Boot Manager en première position et Ubuntu qui a totalement disparu. Voilà pour être tout à fait précis.

Pour terminer, la situation actuelle n'est pas brillante car pour le moment je suis sous Ubuntu mais je vais devoir repasser sous Windows 10 pour vaquer à mes occupations habituelles et, ce faisant, je vais détruire le boot actuelle avec Ubuntu présent et en première position ... et si je veux revenir sous Ubuntu et bien il va falloir que je réinstalle tout. J'en suis déjà à la 8ème installation et c'est, avouons le, un peu pénible. Après déjà 2 abandons, vais-je devoir abandonner encore une fois ?

N'oubliez pas de régler votre BIOS pour qu'il amorce sur le fichier sda3/efi/.../grub*.efi !
Si votre ordinateur redémarre directement sur Windows, essayez de changer l'ordre de démarrage dans votre BIOS.
Si votre BIOS ne permet pas de changer l'ordre de démarrage, changez l'entrée de démarrage par défaut de l'amorceur Windows.
Par exemple, vous pouvez démarrer Windows, puis saisir la commande suivante dans une invite de commande en mode administrateur :

C'est à cette occasion qu'il doit supprimer l'entrée pour Ubuntu (ce qui n'est pas normal : il devrait créer son entrée "Windows Boot Manager" et la placer en priorité de démarrage, mais en aucun cas il devrait supprimer carrément l'entrée pour Ubuntu).

C'est l'invite de commande à passer comme administrateur depuis Windows :
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\shimx64.efiAvec cette modif, au prochain démarrage de W10, s'il n'y a pas d'entrée pour Windows dans le menu UEFI, W10 va créer une entrée "Windows Boot Manager" mais cette nouvelle entrée va pointer sur le chargeur d'amorçage de Grub (donc sur Ubuntu) au lieu de pointer sur Windows. En principe, le démarrage par défaut de l'ordi devrait se faire uniquement sur le menu Grub après cette modif.
Si cette invite de commande ne résout pas, tu pourras essayer cette cette autre invite de commande (pompée dans ce post) :
bcdedit /set '{bootmgr}' path \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efiEDIT : pourrais-tu préciser le nom du modèle et le fabricant de ta carte-mère afin que je la mette dans ma liste noire ?

C'est un vrai plaisir de trouver des gens comme toi sur ces forums où s'allient compétence et partage. Merci infiniment à toi !!!
Tu as vu juste et la première invite de commande (bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\shimx64.efi) était la bonne. Comme tu l'indiques, le nouveau boot fait bien apparaître en première position Windows Boot Manager qui pointe sur le chargeur d'amorçage de Grub. J'ai réalisé une petite dizaine de redémarrage en alternant W10 et Ubuntu et cela fonctionne parfaitement à partir du menu Grub. PARFAIT !!!!!
Quand je dis "parfaitement" cela n'est pas tout à fait juste et je vais profiter lâchement de tes compétences pour te poser 2 questions supplémentaires :
- Lorsque je passe de Ubuntu à W10, l'heure de windows est systématiquement déréglée et affiche l'heure locale moins 2 heures. La remise à l'heure faite et un aller retour Ubuntu/W10 repose le même problème.
- Petit détail : L'ouverture de UBuntu se fait sans que le pavé numérique soit activé (comme sous W10). Je pense qu'il doit y avoir un paramétrage quelque part pour assurer cette activation ...

Je veux te prévenir qu'un de ces jours, lors d'une mise à niveau de Windows 10, tu te retrouveras avec un démarrage par défaut de l'ordi sur Windows 10. Il suffira alors que tu repasses l'invite de commande en mode administrateur qui a fonctionné et ça sera bon.
Quant à ton souci avec le pavé numérique, est-ce que ça te gène parce que tu as des chiffres dans ton mot de passe ?

OK malbo ! Pour le décalage de 2 heures, c'est fait en agissant sur Ubuntu et cela fonctionne. Pour la stabilité dans le temps du boot, je ne t'ai pas posé la question mais je me doutais qu'une mise à jour prochaine de W10 générerait sans doute quelques problèmes. Me voilà prévenu et je t'en remercie.
S'agissant enfin du pavé numérique, en effet j'ai des chiffres dans mon mot de passe et à chaque fois ... il faut recommencer !

Je ne sais pas s'il y a une solution. Crée une autre discussion sur ce problème particulier s'il t'empoisonne la vie.

S'agissant de l'activation automatique du pavé numérique, ce n'est pas un big problème mais ce serait tout de même un petit plus. Je vais ouvrir une nouvelle discussion. Sait-on jamais ?

Comme annoncé, la version 1809 de W10 a tout chamboulé et j'ai activé l'invite de commande qui a rétabli la situation

J'ai fait une grosse bêtise !
J'ai W10 et Ubuntu en dual boot sur mon PC Comme évoqué dans les posts de ce fil.
Hier j'ai voulu tester Kubuntu et comme je n'arrivais pas à l'installer sur Ubuntu (pb système fichier à la racine) j'ai eu la désastreuse idée de formater la partition où se trouve Ubuntu ? en oubliant que les démarrages W10 et Ubuntu sont imbriqués et positionnés dans cette partition. Résultat : aucun OS ne démarre plus ?
J'ai une image système que je viens de restaurer mais aucun changement : le boot de démarrage n'est sans doute pas sauvegardé avec l'image système...
Ma priorité absolue : Récupérer W10 et toutes mes données.
Y a-t-il une solution pour ce faire ?
