[Résolu] DeskJet 2710 (Installation imprimante/scanner)
Bonjour,
Je me suis commandé la DeskJet 2710 sans avoir consulté le forum et puis je me suis dit au moment de l'achat : si c'est une HP c'est forcément reconnu.
J'avais une envy 5546 qui fonctionnait avec le driver 3.20.9 mais qui m'a lâché (écran de fonction tout noir).
Je ne l'ai pas encore reçu mais j'aurai quelques questions :
- Dois-je l'installer directement en suivant la procédure suivante avant de la laisser s'installer avec la version 3.20.3?
- Prendriez-vous l'installation avec interface graphique ou custom?
edit : j'ai migré vers la 20.10; bilan elle a de suite été reconnue y compris le scanner.

C'est une imprimante récente. Il te faut hplip >= 3.20.5

Tu peux le faire mais j'attendrai d'avoir l'imprimante. Elle sera alors installée pendant la procédure.

Je viens à l'instant de faire une clean/fresh install de la distribution.
Donc je repars à zéro.
Je viendrai poster lorsque je serai en carafe ou que j'aurai réussi à installer cette 2710. 
edit : je vais suivre ce tuto dès que je la reçois.

@grigouille, pencherais-tu plus vers une installation automatique ou custom?
Sachant que je ne souhaiterais pas non plus avoir toute cette usine à gaz HP.

Il semble qu'avec la 20.04, l'installation automatique ne fonctionne pas. Lis la doc hplip pour l'installation custom.
Autre solution : passez à Ubuntu 20.10.

Je crois que je vais garder ma 20.04.1 et tenter l'installation custom car je ne veux pas me lancer dans les migrations semestrielles.
edit : du coup cela fait quelques années que je ne veux plus tourner sur une non lts car j'achète du matos trop récent et là rebelote.

Finalement après LE bug de trop de firefox, j'ai reformaté ma bécane et remis la budgie 20.04.1. Et installé en mode custom la DeskJet.
Xsane ne fonctionne pas.

J'ai comme ces deux messages :
Avec Xsane : le scanner est reconnu, mais message d'erreur : erreur d'ouverture du périphérique hpaio:/usb/Deskjet_2700_series...
Avec Numeriseur de Documents 3.36.33 : échec de la numérisation impossible de se connecter au périphérique

hplip-data est bien installé ("ii"), mais que
hplip n'est plus installé ; il n'en reste que des fichiers de configuration ("rc").

Je suis resté jusqu'à 1h30 pour me réinstaller une version propre de la focal. Je ne vous ferez pas perdre votre temps car je vais migrer après mon job vers la gorilla.
