Je n'avais pas vu que j'avais laissé ça en plan...

J'ai bien une sortie DVI et une sortie VGA sur la carte mère.
Par contre, dans le bios je ne trouve aucune mention de GPU quel qu'il soit.
Tout ce que j'ai identifié en rapport avec le graphique, c'est un menu :
Avancé/Configuration d'agent système/configuration graphique

- /écran principal : auto - IGPU - PCIE   [Permet de sélectionner la source d'affichage primaire ( ex: igpu, pcie...)]

-/initialisation du gpu dédié : désactivé - activé [Activez cet élément pour que le système puisse prendre en chargele multi affichage par le biais de l'igpu et de cartes pcie. Le montant de mémoire système partagée avec l'igpu est fixé à 64Mo.]

(En souligné les options activées chez moi.)

C'est probablement ça, initialisation du GPU dédié : en le passant sur "activé", je pense que ça devrait l'activer.
Pour l'écran principal, laisse sur auto, ça permettra de sélectionner le GPU à utiliser en fonction de l'endroit où l'écran est branché.

Une fois que tu as activé la première option, enregistre les paramètres du BIOS, redémarre et une fois de retour sur le bureau, donne à nouveau le retour de lspci pour voir s'il détecte un deuxième GPU.

Il a l'air de voir le GPU Intel :

À partir de là, il va falloir l'utiliser à la place du nvidia. Et pour ça, il va falloir faire des tests.

Tout d'abord, je ne sais plus où on en était : c'est avec toi qu'on n'arrivait pas à utiliser le pilote proprio nvidia ? En tout cas, il faudrait repasser sur le pilote libre (Nouveau) si ce n'est pas déjà celui qui est utilisé.

Ensuite, éteins ton PC, connecte ton écran sur une sortie vidéo de ta CM (pas sur la carte graphique nvidia) et allume-le. Déjà, est-ce que tu as un affichage, ne serait-ce qu'au niveau de l'écran du BIOS ? Si c'est le cas, laisse-le démarrer sur Ubuntu (en espérant que tu aies aussi un affichage avec). Et si tu arrives jusqu'au bureau, donne le retour de :

glxinfo | grep OpenGL
lspci -nnk

C'est fait. Donc en me branchant en VGA (c'est ce que j'avais sur la cg) sur la cm, je n'ai pas d'affichage pour le bios mais après ça me charge ubuntu.

C'est bizarre, il est encore sur le GPU nvidia. Je ne sais pas s'il y a une sorte de pont entre la carte graphique et la sortie vidéo de la CM...

Du coup, ce que je suggérerais c'est de retirer la carte graphique nvidia du PC et de voir ce que ça donne.

L'ordi s'allume et se comporte exactement comme avant.
Dans les paramètres de ubuntu j'ai "Intel® HD Graphics 4600 (HSW GT2)" pour carte graphique.

Là, c'est mieux : le GPU Intel est maintenant détecté comme "VGA compatible controller" et c'est bien lui qui est utilisé.

Maintenant, il faudrait vérifier ce que ça donne pour tes jeux avec. Si ce GPU ne gère pas non plus Vulkan, essaie de modifier les paramètres de lancement de MI comme à la fin du message #8.

Par contre comment ça se fait que sans cg mon ordi fonctionne aussi bien qu'avec ?

Il y a un GPU (une puce graphique), qui est intégré au CPU et pas sur une carte indépendante. Les GPU Intel ne sont pas terribles et ça ne sera peut-être pas mieux pour les jeux mais pour une utilisation bureautique, le fonctionnement général du PC, tu ne devrais pas vraiment voir de différence.

On trouve plusieurs cas de figure pour l'implémentation des GPU :
- le cas le plus courant, sur PC ou sur certains Macs pro : on a une carte graphique dédiée, le GPU est sur une carte d'extension avec sa propre RAM ;
- on trouve des GPU intégrés aux CPU : le plus souvent avec des CPU Intel (comme dans ton cas) mais AMD le fait aussi avec certains modèles ; dans ce cas, le GPU n'a pas de RAM dédiée et utilise une partie de celle du PC ;
- dans de rares cas, on a un GPU complet (indépendant du CPU) soudé sur la carte mère : c'est surtout le cas sur certains portables (notamment ceux qui s'adressent aux joueurs) et c'est le cas sur les Macs grand public (iMac jusqu'à l'an dernier) ; là aussi le GPU utilise la RAM principale au lieu d'en avoir dédiée et c'est un modèle généralement un peu "castré" au niveau des fonctionnalités, même s'il reste généralement plus puissant qu'un GPU intégré au CPU.

Bonjour , sinon pour selectionner la carte graphique par defaut , ca se passe dans le BIOS :

- /écran principal : auto - IGPU - PCIE   [Permet de sélectionner la source d'affichage primaire ( ex: igpu, pcie...)]

iGPU etant la carte graphique integrée au CPU ,( integrated Graphical Processor Unit ) , et PCIE etant evidemment la carte graphique sur le port PCIE . On peut tre bien laisser les 2 , actives et selectionner celle que l' on veut en prioritaire . et meme utiliser les 2 Cartes en meme temps pour du Quad ecran par exemple .

Si tu lances Steam en ligne de commande, il y a aussi les messages d'erreur à propos de Vulkan ?

Dans le dossier ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/32360/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/LucasArts/The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition, toujours pas de Settings.ini ?

Si c'est le même problème qu'avec ton GPU nvidia (ce qui est probable), je pense qu'on aura épuisé les possibilités et que c'est mort à moins de trouver une carte graphique plus récente.

oui , mais comme tu es en train de suivre les indications de @abelthorne , attends plutot d ' avoir fini .
a Noter que si jamais tu decides tout de meme la remettre , il faut changer le parametre BIOS adequate afin de garder l' iGPU en principale et sauvegarder pour rester dans la configuration que teste actuellement @abelthorne .

Bizarrement, il n'y a pas d'erreur liée à Vulkan. Lance la commande suivante :

vulkaninfo 2>&1 | tee ~/vk

Ça va générer un fichier "vk" dans ton dossier perso. Poste son contenu sur Pastebin et donne le lien.

Tu as l'air d'être sur la version beta du client Steam, c'est normal ?

Ton GPU support bien Vulkan mais le support est incomplet sur la génération Haswell. Difficile de dire si le problème vient de là (c'est probable).

En retestant avec la ligne suivante pour les options de lancement, c'est toujours la même chose ?

Si ce n'est effectivement pas le cas, poste le contenu du steam-32360.log qui aura été généré dans ton dossier perso.

Je n'avais rien dans le champ vide des options de lancement de MI.

Là, je ne vois rien dans le log qui indique de façon évidente pourquoi ça plante. La situation m'a l'air assez mal barrée.

Est-ce que ça voudrait dire que le problème, cette fois-ci, vient d'autre chose que de la cg ?
Ou est-ce qu'on ne sait vraiment pas d'où ça vient et donc qu'aucune piste n'est à écarter ?

Non, c'est simplement que le GPU qui est intégré à ton CPU n'est pas beaucoup plus évolué que ton GPU nvidia avec Nouveau et pas suffisant pour SteamPlay. Je t'ai fait tester ça au cas où mais c'était sûr à 90 % que la situation allait être la même.

À tout hasard, tu as testé plusieurs versions de Proton ? Essaie aussi éventuellement Proton GE (instructions d'installation ici, c'est la version native qui te concerne). Je doute que ça change quoi que ce soit mais ça coûte rien d'essayer.

Note : pour ces tests, remets le champ à zéro pour les options de lancement (vide).

Bon j'ai fait le test avec proton GE. Pas vraiment de changement. Simplement, on a gagné 1/2 seconde d'affichage de la fenêtre blanche qui s'ouvre avant le plantage...
