Y a t-il l'icône digital TV dans la fenêtre de kaffeine ?
Avez vous placé le fichier de configuration des fréquences dans ~/.kde/share/apps/kaffeine/dvb-t/fr-Ville ?

Oui moi j'ai l'icône digital TV dans ma fenêtre kaffeine. D'ailleurs il me dit plus le message d'erreur quand je lance kaffeine...mais ça marche toujours pas! Au fait, j'suis pas exactement dans le cas de manolito, car j'ai une Pinnacle pctv usb stick.
Le problème c'est que quand je scanne les chaines, il n'en trouve aucune (que ce soit avec la petite antenne fournie avec la clé ou l'antenne extérieur de mon immeuble). Pourtant je suis dans une zone couverte par la tnt.
thcx, c'est quoi ton histoire de fichier de configuration des fréquences ?

Il faut placer le fichier correspondant à ta ville dans le dossier de kaffeine.
Comme expliqué sur la page doc.ubuntu.com/materiel/tnt
puis dans dvb>configure il faut selectionner ta ville.
Pour moi ça n'a pas marché sans le fichier des fréquences.

j'ai essayé avec tvtime et il m'indique no signal moi aussi j'ai essayé avec plusieurs antenne et je suis dans une zone couverte puisque j'ai 2 télé qui ont la tnt.
je ne suis pas sure d'avoir tout compris de l'histoire du fichier de configuration je vais de nouveau trainer de ce coté et je vous prévient d'un éventuel changement

En fait ma ville est déjà présente dans kaffeine (fr-Villebon) et j'habite à Bures-sur-Yvette, c'est-à-dire à moins de 5 km de Villebon! Donc ça devrait marcher nan ?

j'essai d'installer une autre version de kaffeine que j'ai télécharger il s'agit d'un fichier tar.bz2 quel est la procédure pour l'installation de ce type de fichier

Salut j'ai un probleme j'ai une erreur quand je fais:
sudo modprobe em2880-dvb

J'ai essayé la methode dite un peu plus haut en modifiant le fichier dvb_net.c mais ça n'a rien changé...

essayer avec le v4l-dvb-kernel car je sais qu'il y a plusieurs version ou il n'y a pas ou de mauvais modules pour cette clé. et avec la mise à jour du noyau ça ne marche plus pour certains trucs donc soit vous rester avec l'ancienne soit comme moi vous compilez le noyau moi je suis en 2.6.18 et ça marche bien.

bon voila je viens d'acquerire une pinnacle PCTV USB Stick.
Quand je fait une recherche de chaine il m'en trouve seulement 3 et j'ai une reception a plus de 90 mais pourtant il ne se passe rien
Je suis sous windows Xp Famille.

je n'arrive toujours pas sous ubuntu mais cela va venir par contre j'ai essayer avec windows cela marche impeccable mais avec une antenne de toit pas avec la mini antenne fournie
alors je serais toi je chercherais du coté de l'antenne
autre conseil laisse tombé windows et rejoint les ubuntunautes au debut c'est compliqué mais plus on avance plus on est satisfait

Voici comment faire fonctionner la carte Pinnacle PCTV USB Stick en analogique (image+son):

Lancer xawtv, puis exécuter v4l-scripts-usbaudio_setup.sh dans un terminal.
Si à l'execution du script, vous avez le message d'erreur suivant:
sox: Can't open output file '/dev/dsp': Device or resource busy
Il suffit de taper la commande suivante avant de relancer le script:
sudo killall esd
Dans un autre terminal taper:
alsamixer -c 1 -V capture
et muter puis réactiver l'audio (espace x2), et sortie.
Seul problème notable et pas des moindre pour moi, ma webcam dont le pilote est gspca, ne supporte pas le nouveau v4l. Le module correspondant n'est plus chargé et je me retrouve avec la TNT mais sans webcam !! Ce problème est d'ailleurs signalé dans la documentation, espérons qu'une solution soit trouvée rapidement.
